9. James yammouny • sad "The good bye"

You were impatiently waiting for the doctor or a nurse to go tell you when you could finally visit James. James started having breathing problems and the lat incident with breathing problems brought him to the hospital.

You finally see the nurse with a block of papers in her hand walking over to you. she had a serious face and you instantly got nervous. you grabbed your phone and stand up.

"Miss (u/k), James is in really bad conditions. one more minute without the ambulance and e would've died. we tried everything to stop the asma attack he had, but he passed out. He woke up now, and he seems really weak, so I don't mean to take hope from you, but I don't want to give you false statements. James's heart is going to stop beating in about 5 minutes, so please, follow me until his room." the nurse said. as soon as she said this, your heart stopped for a bit and instant tears came out. you didn't say anything, but you followed her.

As you entered the room, James looked at you and smiled.

"(U/k), I wanted to see you before I die. I wanted you to be the last person I see before I die." He said with a weak voice and it seemed as if he was having problems breathing. you cried and grabbed his hand. you kissed it and felt on your knees, next to his bed. you placed your head in his lap and he petted your head gently. "Don't cry. now, I want you to promise me that you won't be stuck with me and will find someone to build a family with. I'll be watching you from up there!" he said as he lifted your chin up, making you look at him. you kept crying, messing you makeup. but you nodded.

"I... promise!" you said as you whipped the tears from you face.

"One last thing." he said.

"What?" you asked.

"Kiss me until I die. I want to die kissing you (u/k), I love you." he said. You played your and James's song 'clouds - Zach Sobiech'. you smiled and kissed him. a tear of yours felt on his face and met a tear of his. the heart race machine started beating faster and you felt a smile grow on James's lips. his heart beat started slowing down until the last beat. and the machine stopped.
