17. Calum Hood •sweet "Confection"

You and Calum are friends, good friends, but lately you and him have been hanging out, a lot. so you started to grow this fling for him. you tried letting the time pass by to see if it was really just a simple fling, but it happens that it kept growing and you couldn't stop thinking about it. You had just realized that what you felt for him was more than a fling, it was a crush, a hard one too.

You were sitting on your couch watching Netflix by yourself, obviously thinking about Calum.

you giggled as you remembered the day you both went out together to the fair and he bought you an ice cream and one for himself. he dug his face into the ice cream and got ice cream on his nose. you started laughing at him and he chuckled. you suddenly stopped laughing when he grabbed your ice cream an dug your nose on it.

It was now that you had an epiphany. you wanted to tell him what you felt for him. so you grabbed your phone and called him.

"Hi! Calum, it's me, (u/k)." you said.

"Hi (u/k)! what's up?" he asked.

"Nothing. well, actually, there is. I really need to talk to you, you know. it's an important issue that I need to talk with you." you said.

"Alright. well, where do you wanna meet?" he asked.

"How about the place of our first da- I mean, meeting as a friend?" you asked. he chuckled.

"Ok. meet you there in 10." he said.

"Bye!" you said.

"Bye!" he said as you hung up.

you were meeting him at the place of your first.... date! It's a little place near the mountains that you really enjoyed. it's all green, and you really like it. One day, out of nowhere, he asked you to go for a walk and you accepted and suggested that little place near the mountains, which you now call Calli, because you and Calum really like California.

You went to get dressed up and all. after you were done with your clothes, makeup and hair, you grabbed your phone and your purse and exited your house. you called a taxi and waited for him to drive you there.

A while after that, you payed the taxi and he drove off. you walked a bit until you were already in Calli. you saw Calum already waiting for you, but that isn't a surprise since he lives closer to Calli than you (not referring to California). he smiled once he saw you and you smiled back.

"You're gorgeous." he said. you blushed.

"Thanks!" you said.

"But, what's wrong? you said you needed to talk about something important." he said.

"Yeah. well, I've been thinking Calum. I've been thinking a lot. and it's hurting my head because of how much I think about it! I think about it in the shower, before I go to bed, when I wake up, I even dream about it!" you said.

"What exactly is 'it' ?" he asked. you smiled and blushed as you looked at him.

"Y- you." you answered as you looked at the ground. he smiled and lifted your head up.

"There's nothing to be ashamed of! I'll admit it, I wasn't expecting you to confess that early, but... if you didn't say that, than I couldn't ever do what I so desired!" He said.

"Which is...?" you asked confused.

"This!" he said as he, with his hand still on your chin from lifting your head up, got your face close to his and kissed your lips softly and passionately. you kissed back and as you pulled away you opened your eyes widely.

"What just happened?" you asked still in shock.

"I- uh..." he said a bit embarrassed.

"It's ok!" you said as he looked at you with a smile you kissed his lips softly once again.

"Be mine?" he asked.

"Forever!" you said as you hugged.
