Nova's pov
Helena and I have been leaning on dreamfrye talking about the things we could possibly change "you know Laena will die right" she said still looking at the grasshopper near her foot "yeah" I sighed completely forgetting about it "but she wrote two days ago telling me how the twins where asking for me" I replied with a guilty smile "I obviously replied but I don't want to travel sooo far and then having to deal with my fathers nasty feet" I said with a giggle, Helena snorted with a smile finally looking happy. She turned to me with glee in her eyes " I know! Aegons feet stink to Aemond sis starting to" I could feel the dragons near by huff with laughter and agreement.
A dragon near the entrance of the pit made a sound of warning "miss a man is here" a tense voice said in my head I stood up offering a hand for Helena which she took with a smile "a guard is here for you" I said looking in her eyes as they loose the carefree and joyfulness. She tenses hands shaking I can tell she wants to pick at them, I reach out for them taking her hands in mine holding them tightly rubbing my thumb across her hands, "I can make you something you can fidget with if you'll like?" I asked worried with how she copes with her sight " I'll like that" she replied with a smile I've grown to enjoy.
The vibe was ruined when an annoying pest named Criston Cole's voice echoed the pit. "PRINCESS" his voice echoed "ugh annoying human" dreamfrye's voice mumbled with annoyance in her voice "my Rhaenyra thinks he stinks seasmoke agrees" Syrax's voice came through and I snorted. Helena had confusion all over her face "Syrax and seasmoke said he stinks" I told her. "I agree" she said with a lopsided smile.
"PRINCESS HELENA" his shouts echoed I rolled my eyes "can one of yall scare him a bit I'll try to bring more food" I asked the dragons in the dark pit "ME" Seasmoke and Syrax screeched but I swore I heard baby voices "Arrax Vermax?" I asked "she said my name"one said with awe "and mine idiot" okayyy I guess. I turned to Helena about to tell her to cover her ears but crispy's voice was louder "PRINCESS COME OUT RIGHT NOW" I can hear the dragon keepers telling him to quiet down "I'm hungry" a new voice exclaimed "quiet sunfrye" dreamfrye replied. I turned to Helena "cover your ears" she done just that.
"he's coming down" another one said "do it" was all I replied with the sound of metal coming closer then boom, a harmony of screeches and roars filled the air promise of pain and suffering for the wanna be knight. Others joined putting together a symphony that only dragons can accomplish.
"Talk to Laena go visit her tell her goodbye before it's too late" was the last I heard from Helena before she said bye to dreamfrye and I, before leaving. I turned to dreamfrye looking her in the eyes "I'll be leaving to for now I shall see you and meet others some other time" I voiced still looking in her eyes, she nodded then bowed before me which shocked me but scratched her head with a bye and a promise I left.
