"Grab everything you can ok?, in and out before zombies get here" Zeek stresses. Zeek was always (for the short time i've known him) the most paranoid. We go into this janky 7/11 store, Mina immediately runs to the back for Gatorade with Simon and everyone else starts stuffing their bags. I don't. I don't care for food really.
"Kayla, you didn't even grab anything," Mina tilts her head.
"I will. i'm going to go check the back. Maybe theres a.., gun or something...."
"Want me to come?"
"I'm fine." she shrugs and goes back to Simon. I walk to the back, looking around to see if i can find anything, a first aid kit, a gun, anything really. suddenly i get sprung on by a boy, proably around my age. "w-what the fuck-" i say as he pins me up against a table. "yell and i'll shoot you." he says in a calm voice, while pointing a gun to my stomach. "who the fuck are you? why are you here?" he says shoving the gun more into my body. "w-who the fuck are you?? you spring onto me, point a gun to my stomach, and demand to know who i am?? fuck you." he swerves up to my face, thinking he going to try to pull a fast one and kiss me i squirm, he goes for my ear to whisper. "just tell me who you are, and i'll let you go." he says trying to seduce me or some shit. i quickly flip him over grabbing the gun from him and pinning him against the wall. thank god i took wrestling. this guy is strong and if i couldn't have flipped him off me. my guts probably would've been splattered all over the walls. "woah-! i wasn't expecting that." he says smirking. "give me one good fucking reason i shouldn't kill you right now!" i say pushing the gun into the throat. "you could,." "pfft." i bring him out of the back with me, to the front. "look who i found in the back, trying to literally kill me." waiting for them to light their pitchforks. mina immediately runs over to him, to slice his throat- wait, no?? to embrace him?? what the fuck is going on. "uhm, okay what the fuck is going on, i tell you this guy just tried to kill me and you hug him like he's your lost puppy? what's happening." "this is alex he's not a threat at all!! he used to work at the roller rink with me a little while before out the break!" "heyy mina.." he says with a awkward laugh. "zeek can he pretty pretty pleaseeee be apart of walking ghouls!!? i promise ill watch him!!" mina says giving him puppy dog eyes. you've got to be shitting me.
