Lopez was trying his best but there wasn't much he could do without losing his job in the end. It's been 3 months since he was arrested and I'm scared there's nothing we can do. "Snooda get up you gotta get ready for your appointment" Tariah said walking in my room "js give me like 5 more minutes" I said putting my covers over my face "Nope you gotta get up now I already gave you 5 minutes" Tariah said walking to the side of my bed as I smacked my teeth "up,up" Tariah said pulling my arm "I'm getting up" I said getting up "Then she waddled away, waddle, waddle" Tariah sung as I walked to the bathroom. Tariah has been staying w me to help me nd sometimes ddot will come but mainly Tariah. I hadn't been catering like how I'm supposed to because of everything that's going on but I'm still making enough to save for bail if I need to pay it. If he even gets any. "It's always cold in here" I said shivering "Here" Tariah said passing me her jacket"Thank you" I said putting the jacket on "I'm basically yo baby daddy if we being honest" Tariah said blanky "No,your not" I said laughing "I am" Tariah stated "Gist?" A nurse said "Come on" I said to Tariah. When I go to my ultrasound appointments it usually a female there but I guess she couldn't make it today cs it was a dude in there. "Hey I'm nurse Dennis I'll be covering for Nurse Nelson" He said shaking my hand. I wasn't uncomfortable its js the fact I was already used to a nurse then a new one came in and I don't like talking to new people. After I got my pictures nd allat done I went home. "What time you going to see DD"Tariah asked coming in my room with pineapples "like 2" I said getting them from her hand "I really cant believe I'm pregnant like, there's a whole human inside of me" I huffed "I can't believe your pregnant I was supposed to get pregnant first" Tariah said "Yh nd I was supposed to be the rich auntie" I said eating my pineapples "Mmcht you always gotta mess something up" Tariah laughed "Riah..." I said leaving a silence "What." She said huffing "Can you get my pillow from downstairs" I asked hugging her "NOO" she said hugging me back "Please I wanna lay down" I begged "Fine" Tariah said smacking her lips. I went to go see DD at 2 I try to see him every chance I get nd show him my ultrasound pictures and stuff like that. I rly do miss DD. Ionk how imma pay Tariah back for helping me.
Later that day
I was talking to Tariah over the phone about how the visit went. "I feel like this worse than a break-up" I said sitting up my phone "It is not" Tariah said rolling her eyes "Wtvr" I said looking thru the fridge "You finna cook" Tariah asked "Hy I'm finna make chicken Alfredo" I said sitting the stuff I need on the counter "Save me some" Tariah stated "I'll try" I said picking my phone up. We talked for a lil while then hung up.

Lopezpov 5:00 "There is no actually proof to say that he did this" I said "Its a whole confession" My boss yelled "He was drugged" i stated "The kid it a drill rapper you think he didn't do it? Even if he was drugged where is the proof of that nd why didn't he press charges" He stated "That's not how things work, they didn't even know each other" i argued "Lopez Imma take you off the case js do your job,He did it nd now he's going down for it" He stated before walking out. I'm not letting him go to jail even if he did do it he has a kid on the way i thought to myself getting my phone out to text Namari.

Lopez- My boss is being very stubborn when it comes to dd's Case he believes he wasn't drugged Lopez- if you have any proof that he was drugged could you give it to me? Nd if that doesn't work I'll js have to risk losing my job

"Mari please js listen to me" DD said grabbing my arm "js leave me alone" i said pulling my arm away from him but he had a grip on me "Js look" he said handing me a paper "What's this"I said taking the papers out his hand "She drugged me i dont remember anything but I do know she made me confess to what we did to trey but she left the phone" dd said looking down at me.
Back to now
"Namari" I heard Lopez say from the other side of my door "I'm coming" I said walking to the door "Here the papers" I said handing him the paper "Thank you hopefully this will change his mind" Lopez stated "Thank you Lopez for what you doing" I said with a warm smile "No problem" he said before walking out. I rlly hope the papers changes something because I don't want Lopez to lose his job nor do I want DD to stay locked up.

"I can't believe she js ran off" I said "Why did you become cool with her anyway" Haidyn asked "Because we both don't like DD or Namari" I stated throwing my head back "Well he in jail now you got what you want" Maddison added "Yk Taraji pregnant rii" Haidyn stated "Oh yh she is Namari is too" Maddison nodded "Why am i js now finding out about this" I said getting mad "Why you worried about it" Maddison asked "Oh you don't know him nd Taraji were messing around" Haidyn stated "So it might be yo baby" Maddison stated in disgust "But y'all dead ass wrong for putting DD in jail he gotta kid otw" Maddison stated "I'm not wrong for nothing my cousin didn't deserve that" I said shaking my head in disappointment "He was abusive" Maddison stated blankly "Ok...." I said leaving a silence "Anyway if it is your kid whatchu gon do" Haidyn said out of curiosity " There's nothing I can do she left" I stated. I honestly felt bad for what I did thinking back on it, Me nd DD both have a kid otw. Nd Maddison has a point he was abusive to Namari why did I feel that I had to step in and defend something that didn't need defending yh I did something fucked up but what trey did was fucked up-er he did deserve it. I'm mad at Taraji for leaving we could've taken care of the baby together.
