I rolled my eyes and walked down stairs. I saw a boy bout 16 and a women and man. " hello, you must be Kate, and Jake. This is my son Justin, my daughter couldn't make it." the women said with a smile. There was something strange about them, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. " say hi to our new neighbors Justin" his mother said. Then he didn't say anything so she bumped him on his arm. "h-hi....." He said not wanting to speak. "sorry , our son is just shy" you could tell she was lieing, something was up, I knew it. " why don't you two go hang out in Kates room?" my mom said. I glanced at Justin to see if he wanted to. " s-sure" he stutterd. We walked up the stairs and into my room. We sat there silently for 30 min. Then his mother called for him " Justin its time to go home!" she called. He got up and just walked out. Not even a goodbye? oh well.... then I spotted a note folded up laying on my desk. I walked over to it and unfolded it.

don't trust them, don't trust anyone in this neighborhood, come to the woods behind your house and don't tell anyone where your going. no matte what. DONT TRUST THE NEIGHBORS!!!

-Justin

so.... I guess I'll go to the woods. I mean what else am I supposed to do? I put my black sweater on, and my combat boots on. I opened my bedroom door and started to walk out then my brother stopped me, "hey, sis where are you going?" Jake asked me. Crap, what am I supposed to do now? "Umm I was just going outside to make sure I got everything out of the car...." I made a fake smile. "ok" he simply replied then walked away. 'well that was easier than I thought it was going to be' I thought to myself. Then walked outside. I walked around the house to the backyard. The backyard looked old and hasn't been mowed in god knows how long. Then I saw the woods lining the backyard. It looked deep, and foggy, I started to get second thoughts about going into the woods.
