A/N: Hey Guys! I know that you have to be 18 to get a medical card. And I know that her 'condition' isn't available to obtain one and that she'd have to get a new one in Washington. But this is FICTION for a reason. Thank you and happy reading!!

Maddy POV:

The Plane ride to Seattle was boring. I slept for most of it. Now here we are, standing outside the Airport with our bags, waiting for our Father. I nervously scratch at my hand from the anxiety, not realizing I was bleeding until Bella tensed next to me.

"Shit! Sorry, Bells." I quickly pull my hoodie sleeve down to hide the small patch of Blood forming on my thumb. She shakes her head at me and rubs my shoulder in comfort. "It's okay, Mads. Are you okay?"

I nod then peer outside once again, seeing Charlie pull up. Bella walks up to the car and gives him an awkward side hug, "Hey dad. Good to see you." I stand a few feet away, putting our bags in the trunk.

I get lost in thought, again, thinking about all the possibilities of being here. I feel a light tap on my shoulder that breaks me out. I still knowing who it was. After a few deep breaths, I turn around and give my dad a sheepish smile.

"Hi Da-," I don't get to finish my sentence when he sweeps me up into a bone crushing hug. Tearing up, I hug him back just as tight. He sets me down a couple seconds later but holds me by shoulders. "Hey Princess. You look good. I've missed you."

I pull him back in, crying into his shoulder. "I've missed you too, Dad. I'm so sorry for how I acted back then. I love you. I know you care. I shouldn't have said that to you."

He chuckles, returning the affection, before leading me to the car. I sit in the back and put my headphones in, hoping to avoid awkward conversation until we get back to Forks.

We pull up to a white two story house and grab our bags. Just as I remember. He leads Bella over to her room while I make my way up to mine. I smile seeing my old drawings still hanging up next to pictures of me and my friends.

Perks of having an attic Bedroom is ultimate Privacy. I also have my own DIY dance studio in the basement, but considering it's also the laundry room there zero chance of being alone. I set my bags down on my bed and open my window, climbing out.

When I was 11ish, I made my own little lookout spot up here. It gives me a perfect view of the woods and the stars. I've always been a nature girl, according to my mom anyways. Taking a deep breath, I close my eyes reveling in the earthy smells. Petrichor and Pine dancing in a slow but beautiful waltz. The gentle wind causing a beautiful harmony of moving leaves as they twirl on the dew covered grass.

Forks has always been my safe place. Peaceful and full of kind people. Back in Phoenix, I'd think of the different shades of green and brown the woods has to offer whenever I could feel the busy city overwhelming my senses.

A honk from below snaps me out of my trance as I open my eyes. Looking down, I see Jacob and Billy Black pulling in with an old Chevy truck strapped to a trailer. The latter waves when he sees me. I quickly climb down the gutter pipe, as I've done many times before sneaking out.

"Hey, Billy! Jake! How've you guys been?" I hug each of them, Jacob's lasting a bit longer than needed, before my dad opens the door with Bella following him. Weird, Jake hasn't hugged me like that since I got out of Juvie.

"I don't know about Jacob, but I'm still dancing. I've missed you kid." He shoots Jake a wink, causing the boy to look away from embarrassment. Dad quickly reintroduces Bella to them before he and Billy get into some sort of play fight.

"Are they always like this?" Bella looks over at me with a curious gaze gesturing to the two Man-Children. I laugh before responding, "From what I remember, yeah."
Jacob cuts in saying, "It's getting worse with old age."

We joke around a bit more before they return. Dad gestures to the truck, slightly out of breath, "So Bella, what do you think?" Her head whips between him and the truck, "This? Are you kidding?" Dad nods, wearing a proud smile. "It's your homecoming present. Mads, your bike will be here tomorrow night, so I have a different gift for you."

Bella runs over to the truck with Jacob showing her the different details. I smile at the two, reminiscing on the times we all spent as kids just running around together. I feel a warm hand grab mine and look down at Billy. "I know you guys have school tomorrow, but maybe after you could come see everyone? I know a couple boys who have missed you in particular?"

I turn my head to hide my blush. Ever since we were six, the adults would always make joke about my best friends loving me a bit more than friends do. Embry Call and Quil Ateara. We've been best friends since diapers. Always together.

"Sure, I'd love to see everyone again!" He smiles at me with a fatherly gaze before turning back to my dad. I've missed it here. It's good to be Home.
