Idententifiers

Identifiers are common in a teenager's life.  The-Girl-With-the-Big-Boobs,The-Boy-With-Abs, Miss- 4.0, they all define a person, but it doesn't set them apart from the other part of the world. Every person is unique in their own way and if we only see one thing that they have done, we might miss something very important. The-Girl-With-the-Big-Boobs might become a doctor who works on finding the cure for cancer, but we'll never know because we're too busy looking at her boobs. The-Boy-With-Abs might become a firefighter and save an entire family, but the only thing we would see him for would be his abs.

We as teenagers only see the superficial part of life; what clothes we wear, how she does her nails, how many girls he has dated, but what would happen if we look deeper into someone's life? Maybe people would stop being something they  are not and actually become who they really are. If we stop trying to live up these  Identifiers and live up to our full  potential, other people's opinion wouldn't matter to us. We would be too busy being happy and floating on cloud nine to worry about what others think of us.

So I ask you, are you   holding someone back, or are you letting others hold you back?
