[Olivia Rodrigo : Enough For You]
Heeseung drove with a determined focus, his mind racing with worry for Jaeyun. When they arrived at Heeseung's office building, he parked the car and guided Jaeyun inside. The building was mostly empty, the late hour ensuring their privacy.Heeseung's office was a spacious, modern room with large windows overlooking the city. Heeseung motioned for Jaeyun to sit on the couch while he grabbed a first aid kit from a cabinet.
"Let me see your hand," Heeseung said gently, sitting beside Jaeyun.
Jaeyun hesitated for a moment before extending his right palm. The skin was scraped and bleeding slightly. Heeseung carefully cleaned the wound, his touch gentle but firm. The silence between them was heavy, the air thick with unspoken words.
"Does it hurt a lot?" Heeseung asked, his voice low and concerned.
Jaeyun shook his head. "It's not too bad. Thank you, Heeseung-hyung."
As Heeseung finished bandaging Jaeyun's hand, Jaeyun took a deep breath, gathering his courage. "I... I have a few more wounds. On my stomach."
Heeseung's eyes widened in concern. "Let me see," he said softly.
With trembling hands, Jaeyun lifted his shirt, revealing a series of scratches and bruises on his abdomen. Heeseung's heart ached at the sight. He took a moment to compose himself before gently cleaning and treating the wounds.
Heeseung was fighting his inner demons seeing such sight. All that came to his mind is that Jaeyun's so pretty all over. The honey like skin on his abdomen now forming purple bruises.
Jaeyun's face flushed with embarrassment, the close proximity and Heeseung's tender care making him acutely aware of his own feelings. He tried to focus on anything but the warmth of Heeseung's touch, but it was impossible. His heart raced, and he felt his cheeks growing hotter by the second.
Heeseung noticed Jaeyun's discomfort and tried to be as gentle as possible, his own feelings bubbling to the surface. He had always admired Jaeyun from afar, but seeing him like this, so vulnerable and close, stirred something deeper.
"There," Heeseung said softly, finishing the last bandage. "You should be okay now. Just take it easy for a while." He wanted to pull the younger to his chest and whisper sweet nothings to him but refrained himself from doing so.
Jaeyun nodded, quickly pulling his shirt back down. "Thank you, Heeseung-hyung. I'm sorry for all this trouble."
Heeseung shook his head. "You don't have to apologize. I'm glad I could help." He paused, his eyes searching Jaeyun's. "If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to call me. I mean it, sweetheart."
Jaeyun's heart swelled with emotion. "I will. Thank you."
The moment hung between them, charged with unspoken feelings. Jaeyun felt a surge of courage and decided to speak up. "Heeseung-hyung....are you - are you dating someone?"
Heeseung's eyes softened, and he smiled gently. "Huh! and why do you wanna know about my dating life? " a smirk forming on his stupidity gorgeous face.
Jaeyun's blush deepened, but he felt a warmth spreading through him that had nothing to do with embarrassment. "I - it's okay, you don't have to tell me. "
Heeseung chuckled, "No, I'm not dating anyone at this moment. " he answered.
"Come on let's get you home." they walked back to the parking lot in silence. An unreadable tension could be felt between them but no one was ready to acknowledge it.
