Feel free to suggest ideas since my knowledge of DC isn't that great.

A superhero. A character that shines as a beacon of hope and justice for the weak and broken. Individuals who would fight for the goodness of everyone even to the extent of relinquishing their own happiness. I admired this individual especially when I was a child.I've looked up to individuals like Superman, Spiderman, Batman, and many more but these three showed me countless lessons and aspirations to follow.
Of course they were far from perfect but these flaws make them believable. Where despite all their wits and power, they are still somewhat human in ways that send the message that anyone can be a hero. Powers or not. Costume or not.
I wanted to be like them. To be a beacon of hope. Someone who will not stand aside when past injustice. A person who has the moral to see the light in even the blackest person. Because even in the best of us, there's darkness lurking while in the worst of us there's light shining.
Of course, I am not an idiot and understand when a person is simply insane and not broken. I don't expect to save a monster when they don't have human morals anymore.
Regardless, many criminals and those who walk the dark path were at some point good people only to be driven into darkness.
I wanted to save them. To help them the best I can. A person who genuinely wants to save them from succumbing to darkness.
However, like any hero, I was met with misfortune as at an early stage when I was diagnosed with a disease that made sure I would suffer and lived a life of torment.
But, the things I remembered reading and watching superheroes is despite how unfair the situation may be, none lose hope and give into despair.
That's why I did everything I could before I died to help as many people as I could. Not because I wanted something in return. But because knowing I could help and change someone's life motivated me.
In the end, I became what I wanted, a symbol for those like me. Living life in joy despite their suffering. Yes. I lived my life. And I am content.
I had a loving family. Supportive friends. People who had their hope rekindled because of me. I died with a smile on my face.
…..
…
But that wasn't my end. At the moment my mind felt groggily and hazy feeling rather distorted where it seems the line of dream and reality seems to become a blur.
I was sure I had died but right now I found myself in an unknown home in an foreign place. The thing is that I was able to feel my feet that had been paralyzed because of my sickness. Yet, strangely it felt normal that I was able to pick up my feet.
My emotion was all over the place that I couldn't decide if I should rejoice or not but I knew I needed answers. I looked around my room and stood up when I noticed a door that I somehow knew would lead to a bathroom.
I staggered as I made my way towards the door and when I finally did quickly turned the knob opening the door. Both hands are placed on the sink as I take deep and long breaths trying to calm my nerves.
My eyes shifted, glimpsing my face and felt bewildered when I saw my face. It wasn't mine. It was supposed to be malnourished due to the many therapy I had to go through but what laid before my eyes was a healthy young man with slightly above-average height, with a lean but muscular build and brown hair and hazel eyes.
