You might already be able to tell where this is going...
I am generally a very klutzy person. I mean,VERY. I've practically stopped noticing now when I run into kitchen counters and ends of walls.
But last night, I did something that wast even necessarily my fault for once (yay!).
It was a normal evening. My little sister and I (I think I'm going to start calling her Kat...) were doing the dishes like good children, and I went to the pantry to put something away.
You know those round frying pan things - woks? Apparently some of them come with metal racks, in which to steam vegetables or something.Metal racks with pointy bits.
Anyway, I was in the pantry, and I was just putting stuff away, when I stepped on something, and I heard this pop! crunch!
And then my foot started to hurt. I looked down, and I had stepped my heel right on a half-inch long piece of thick wire with a blunt end. If you know what finishing nails look like, imagine one about half as long and with no point. And it went all the way in.
Anyway, Kat came and pulled it out, and I started dripping blood everywhere, and now I have to walk on tiptoe with my left foot or it really hurts. Yay for getting hurt all the flipping time!
