3 Person POV.

The night was mostly quiet, with only the sound of water lapping against the small beach and the distant hum of insects. It was 3 AM when one of the boys in the house woke up. Propping himself up on his elbows, he looked down at his friend, who was lying on his stomach. The two boys had a close, platonic relationship—they were touchy with each other, but it never turned romantic. The boy who had woken up decided to get a glass of water. He carefully got up, trying not to wake the younger boy, and quietly slipped out of the room.

As he walked downstairs, the house was silent, with everyone else still asleep. Or so he thought. When he entered the living room, he noticed a figure standing outside on the wooden railing, smoking. Recognizing the person by the faint glow of the vape, he grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and walked toward the door.

"What are you doing out here? It's 3 AM," he asked quietly, his voice curious. The white-haired boy outside turned slightly and replied, "I could ask you the same thing, Spoke." The black-haired teen sat down next to his friend.

"I woke up and needed some water. You?" Spoke asked, looking out at the lake.

"Overthinking everything. Plus, my insomnia," Branzy admitted, exhaling smoke from his vape.

"Still overthinking your situation with Clown?" Spoke inquired gently.

Branzy nodded, looking down. "Is it that obvious?"

"Not to Clown, but to everyone else? Yeah, it's pretty obvious," Spoke chuckled. Branzy sighed, taking another drag from his vape.

"I just don't want to ruin our friendship, you know?"

Spoke smiled, placing a hand on Branzy's shoulder. "I get it. But just show him what an amazing person you are. He'd be an idiot not to want to date you."

Branzy laughed softly. "Thanks, Spoke. But you should head back to bed—it's almost 4 AM."

Spoke checked his phone and realized Branzy was right. He said his goodbyes and quietly went back to his room.

CLOWN. POV
NEXT MORNING (10AM)
I woke up with Branzy asleep on my chest, my hand resting in his hair. As I looked around, I saw eight boys standing in our bedroom, giggling and snapping pictures.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I hissed, careful not to wake Branzy.

"We wanted to wake you two for breakfast, but you were so cute we didn't want to disturb you," Ash whispered with a grin.

"But Clown, we have an important question," Spoke said, stepping forward.

"What question?" I asked, both curious and confused.

Red chimed in, "Do you like Branzy, like, romantically?"

My face turned bright red in an instant, and the boys stifled their laughter, still trying not to wake Branzy.

"Dude, you have to tell him," Zam said, nudging me.

"What? No way! I don't even know if he likes me," I stammered.

Spoke looked at me incredulously. "Are you blind? He has the biggest crush on you!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Spoke realized his mistake. Parrot and Zam simultaneously smacked him on the back of the head.

"You didn't hear that," Spoke muttered sheepishly.

"Branzy has a c-crush on m-me?" I stuttered, trying to process the information.

"Yeah, and you should do something about it. He's been dropping hints for like a year," Parrot added.

My mind raced, and after a few moments, I came up with a plan to confess to him.

"I think I have a plan," I said, a little more confidently.

Rek raised an eyebrow. "You're finally starting to think—good job."

Ash grinned. "What's the plan?"

"I'm going to get more clingy with Branzy, show him more affection. I want him to feel comfortable with me before I tell him how I feel," I explained.

Satisfied with my plan, the boys left, leaving me alone with the still-sleeping Branzy. I continued to stroke his hair, gently playing with it as I scrolled through my phone. I knew he struggled with insomnia, so I didn't want to disturb the precious sleep he was finally getting. As a few strands of hair fell across his face, I carefully brushed them away, feeling the urge to touch his face. My hand moved almost on its own, gently caressing his cheek. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at him, thinking that if anyone walked in, they'd see me staring at this perfect boy with a stupid grin on my face.

Branzy POV.

I woke up to the feeling of someone caressing my face and playing with my hair. I knew by the texture of the hand that it was Clown. My face flushed, but he couldn't see it since I had my back to him. I kept my eyes closed, savoring the warmth of his touch. I wished I could stay like this forever, but then someone entered the room.

"Alright, lovebirds, Clown, wake Branzy up and come downstairs. We're going swimming," Ash said, breaking the silence.

Clown responded, "You remember Branzy can't swim, right?"

I was surprised that he remembered—I'd only mentioned it once. But then my thoughts shifted. I'm going to see him without a shirt... I'M GOING TO SEE MY CRUSH WITHOUT A SHIRT... OMG... I'm acting like a teenage girl... I am a teenage boy...

Clown's gentle voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Branzy, wake up, please. We're going swimming."

I pretended to wake up, looking at him innocently. "Huh?"

Clown smiled at me. "We're going swimming. I'm going to change—go downstairs for breakfast."

He left the room, and I buried my face in my pillow, letting out a muffled scream before heading downstairs.

Look who finally woke up! It's 11 AM—good job, Branzy," Red teased as I entered the kitchen.

"Thanks, Red. Good morning to you too," I replied, trying to shake off my embarrassment.

Clown came down the stairs, ready for the day. "Okay, let's go! Last one in the water cooks today!"

Everyone dashed toward the lake, except for me, Planet, and Leo. As they ran, most of them pulled off their shirts. My eyes were immediately drawn to Clown and his now bare chest. He was just perfect. I heard laughter from behind me and turned to see Planet and Leo grinning.

"Checking out your boyfriend?" Planet teased.

"He's not my boyfriend, you idiot," I shot back, feeling my face heat up.

"Not yet," Leo added with a smirk.

"Okay, you're done!" I said, launching into a playful fight with Leo. But being taller and stronger, he easily picked me up and carried me toward the water. The moment the cold water touched my feet, even though it was only up to my ankles, I screamed, drawing everyone's attention. I managed to escape and pushed Leo into the water, running to the end of the dock where the water was deeper.

But as I glanced back at Leo, I lost my footing and slipped, falling into the water. I immediately went under, panic setting in as I realized I couldn't swim. The lack of oxygen made everything go dark...
