After texting Max, I went to bed and woke up early the next day.

I took a relaxing bath and then changed into my usual clothes. Since I wasn't in the mood to cook and my friend Tank was busy, I decided to go out and take a break. I grabbed my skateboard, which I hadn't used in a while, and headed to Bean Scene.

On my way there, I unexpectedly saw Max, someone I wasn't particularly thrilled about seeing. I had hoped to only encounter him in class, but fate had other plans.

I wasn't in the mood to engage with him, so I decided to look for a different coffee shop.

Although I didn't feel like skating, I brought my skateboard with me for some reason and stumbled upon another coffee shop.

It was a pleasant surprise as Bean Scene had been the only coffee shop in town. Inside, they were playing delightful music, and I approached the counter to order an iced coffee and maybe some bread.

Since the coffee shop had recently opened, their menu was limited, so I only ended up purchasing the iced coffee.

It was fairly cheap, costing only $7. After waiting for a short while, the woman at the counter called my name, and I went up to collect my drink. As I sat back down to enjoy my coffee, I realized it was already 8 am, and I had a class with Max at 9 am.

Finishing my drink, I decided to head to class early. I left the coffee shop and decided to skate my way there. While skating, I unexpectedly tripped and fell, landing face-first.

I let out a painful scream as I felt a sharp pain in my nose. Thankfully, it was just a nosebleed and not a broken nose. As I struggled to get up, someone extended their hand to help me. When I looked up, to my surprise, it was...
