Emotionally Dead

Surrounded by darkness now,
Hiding from the pain,
Remembering the days,
When I was happy and sane.
I know I seem happy,
Young and free,
But thats only because,
You don't see the real me.
My scars aren't visible,
But they sure are there,
The pain isn't invisible,
But still no one seems to care.
You will never know,
What I think inside my head,
You will never experience,
The pain I am fed,
And now it's too late to help me,
I'm emotionally dead.
