Author's POV
A deep silence enveloped the research lab as everyone focused intently on the results of the experiment they had been conducting for an extended period. The hum of the apparatus filled the laboratory as they validated the results.
After moments of hushed anticipation, a glimmer of hope and excitement illuminated their eyes.
"We did it! WE DID IT!"
The team erupted with joy as they achieved positive results, driving them to delve deeper into their research.
Meanwhile, In a dimly lit room, someone was watching the elated expressions of the researchers through the screen. "Tsk" He switched the screen, revealing a document title 'Nanoparticle Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Cancer Therapy'.
A message flashed on his screen, prompting him to squint as he read it. Another notification chimed in. A sly grin formed on his face as he noticed the bank account notification. With a deft touch, he typed on the keyboard and replied,
'Done deal!'

Tanu strolled down the corridor with Pooravi when she caught sight of a familiar figure. She casually glanced back, but the figure had vanished into thin air. She recalled the familiar tall foreign girl immediately. Puzzled, she furrowed her brows and shrugged.
Meanwhile, the 'familiar figure' sauntered into the head of the department's office where three individuals, including the HOD, were already present.
"Finished?!" inquired the newcomer.
"Not yet," replied the person engrossed in the laptop, tapping away at the keys playfully.
"In an hour, the coast will be clear. Commence your work by then," instructed the HOD, checking his watch, while the other three individuals exchanged nods.

"When you gonna meet him?" Pooravi asked, lounging on Tanu's bed.
"He mentioned he'd text the deets on time and place. Still waiting, yaaaarrr (Pal)," Tanu replied, fiddling with her phone. A notification chimed, catching Tanu's attention as she sat up to read the message.
"What's the scoop?" Pooravi peered over Tanu's shoulder. Tanu handed her the phone.
"Kisi ne jaan nahi bulaya? 💔 koi baat nahi aap naan bula lo❤️"
(No one called you life? 💔 Don't worry, you order naan ❤️) (naan is a kind of bread)
Pooravi burst into laughter. "Behan, naan bula le, vo jaan nahi bolega (Sis, just order naan, he won't call you life)," she chuckled, making Tanu struggle to keep a straight face, eventually joining in the laughter.
"Oh God, These Food delivery apps and their quirky notifications!" Tanu exclaimed.
Another message lit up her phone. She furrowed her brow and shared it with her friend.
"Seems intense"
"Hmm, let's go. About your meet-up?"
Tanu checked her phone. "Rain check?! He's tied up, can't make it. He even apologized."
She looked at her friend and pondered.
"He's busy now. We got stuff too. Call him later. Let's go, bro. Lab's waiting for us." Both pouted, gearing up to head out.

"Why so serious? Did something happen?" Both the girls entered the lab and found their colleagues with serious expressions. Kian rolled his eyes.
"Someone—" Kian started to explain but stopped as he saw a few more people entering the lab.
Both the girls furrowed their brows, turned to look at the newly arrived individuals. Surprise was visible on their faces.
