10. The Truth

With a smile on Taehyung's face he finally enter Jia's neighborhood as he drive a little faster, excited to see Jia. He imagine the look on her face, surprise to see him in this late night.

After a few minutes he finally arrived in front of their main gate. He looks through his window and saw the house looks empty. Their porch lights were off and the master's bedroom with the balcony at the third floor which is Jia's parents room were empty because of the turned off lights.

Taehyung thought her parents must went out and wonder where is Jia because her room is also empty.

He goes outside his car and close his car door. He reach in his pocket and held his phone.

Taehyung immediatelt dial Jia's number.

The phone suddenly starts beeping as it says the person is cannot be reach. He started to get worried as he went up on the small stair case in front of their gate and rang the doorbell.

With no response he rang it again and dial Jia's number one more time but still cannot be reach.

Suddenly, a woman in her middle age opens the entrance gate as Taehyung look at her, it was the caretaker.

"Oh hello Taehyungssi." The woman greeted.

"Mrs. Lim, is Jia home?" Taehyung immediately ask her. Mrs. Lim furrowed her eyebrows like she is processing something and looks at Taehyung.

"I wasnt home earlier because Mrs.Seon told me to buy some needs and groceries for the house and I went home with no one inside. I thought Jia went to school because I saw her on our cctv leaving the house at 10 a.m." Mrs. Lim explained as this finally worry Taehyung.

"Jia didnt come to school, today and She left at 10 a.m? She still didnt come back?" Taehyung ask again.

"Oh yes, I was worried earlier but thought that she might be at her apartment near her university. You guys didnt see each other?" Mrs. Lim said and wait for taehyung to answer her.

Taehyung again look at his phone and saw that its almost 11 p.m and back to the woman.

"No, we didnt. I texted her and thats the last time I talked to her. I should go to her apartment. Please call me when she went home, Mrs. Lim, thank you." With that he bowed to her and ran up to his car and drive off the road.

He was worried and anxiety rushes up into his body knowing damn well that Jia might do something to herself again. Like she did 5 months ago.

flashbacks.

"Jia?! Jia! What are you doing?!" Taehyung screamed when she saw Jia on her bath tub holding a bottle of sleeping pills and the pills scattered all over her bathroom's white marble floor as she was there laying on her bath tub like she was about to take her own life.

"Why are you doing this to yourself? Have you gone mad?!"

"Taehyung, just leave me alone. I want to be alone." Jia said with tiredness in his voice mixed with whisper as Taehyung couldnt help but feel his tears falling from his eyes. He pick up Jia on the bath tub and make her lay properly on her bed.
