? : "Hey... Hey! Wake up!"
A voice yells at me... Leave me alone momma...
But suddenly I got shook.. I open my eyes and a bright light hits my eyes, I squint at them and sit up, rubbing my eyes.
? : "Hey don't ignore me! I asked you a question!"
I open them fully, seeing another little boy.
Kai: "Huh...? Is... Is recess over already...?"
? : "What? No, not yet- Hey I'm the one asking the questions here!"
Kai: "... You didn't ask a question, though.. "
He looks at me like I'm crazy... I didn't hear him say anything, he was probably talking to me as I was sleeping... What an idiot.
? : "I did! I asked what your name was!"
Kai: "My name..? My name is Kai."
He blinked twice, looking confused.
Kai: "What?... Do I have sand on my face?" I go to wipe my face.
? : "No. But... Are you a girl or a boy?"
I shoot him a glare.
Kai: "A boy, obviously!"
? : "Oh, you look like a girl."
He crossed his arms.
Kai: "You know it's rude if you ask someone their name but don't say yours?"
I let out an annoyed huff.
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗼: " "My name is 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗼."
He smirks smugly.
Kai: "... Okay?"
Mateo: "I'm Mexican?"
Kai: "I don't care. I'm German? It's just your nationality."
Mateo: "My wha?"
I sigh, he definitely was a dumb dumb.
Kai: "Na-tion-al-ity."
I roll my eyes. Yes, I was only 6, but my mother taught me better than school.
Mateo: "I dunno what that is."
Kai: "You idio-"

Before I could finish my insult, the school bell rang. Great. I spent my entire recess talking to a complete elephant. Mateo had run off to his classes line. Unfortunately- that was my line. I walk over, crossing my arms. And that's how it started. In 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻.
