𝕪𝕠𝕜𝕠'𝕤 . 𝕆. 𝕍

For the past three days that I've been living here, I've realized a few things about myself. First and foremost, I'm obviously not normal. Either I am not human, or I am a human with some sort of special abilities, because no normal person can regenerate. Secondly, I can read minds. I don't know how, but I can. I figured it out on the second day I was here. It happened immediately after the brown-haired maid took me out shopping. The trip itself was a whirlwind of unfamiliar sights and sounds, and the maid's brisk efficiency contrasted sharply with my hesitant steps. When we returned, I dropped the items we bought into Mitsumi's room, the space filled with a mixture of delicate floral scents and the faint, comforting aroma of polished wood. I decided to ask the maid some questions, driven by the gnawing curiosity that had been building up inside me.

As I approached her, I felt an unusual sensation, like a soft breeze stirring through my mind, and suddenly, I could hear her thoughts. "What does this girl want now?" she thought, her irritation clear. "Hey, I have a question. Wait; it's not one. It's actually two," I said, halting in my tracks as I corrected myself, feeling a bit awkward under her scrutinizing gaze. "This is a kitchen, not a classroom!" she snapped, her voice cold , her annoyance palpable. "Okay, so it's now three," I said, counting on my fingers, trying to stay calm despite the tension. "This girl has come with her stupid questions again!" I read her mind again, sensing her exasperation. "You're not going to leave until I answer them, are you?" she sighed, the frustration in her voice mingling with a resigned acceptance. I gave her a blank stare, feeling a mix of defiance and curiosity. "Ask away," she said grudgingly, her shoulders dropping slightly as she turned to face me.

"What is a phone used for exactly?" I asked, my curiosity spilling over, eager to understand the strange device she had given me. "Well, it can be used for many things, but it's mainly used for communicating with people," she replied, a hint of impatience lacing her words. "What about the headphones?" I continued, undeterred. "Mainly for listening to music," she answered curtly, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Why did you buy them for me?" I pressed on, genuinely puzzled. "You seem to be the kind of person who hates social interaction, so I figured the headphones would suit you well. Trust me, you're going to need them," she said, her tone softening as she gave my question some thought, then gave me a warm, toothy smile. "Thanks for your concern," I said, trying to suppress the slight happiness she caused me, feeling a strange warmth spread through me. Her smile lingered for a moment before she turned back to her work, leaving me standing there, contemplating the strange new abilities I had discovered and the peculiar kindness of the brown-haired maid. "By the way, what's a classroom?" I asked, breaking the awkward silence that had settled in.

"Stop pestering me with your damn questions. Go ask the rest to your mentor when you get to school!" she finally snapped, shouting at me loudly. I couldn't help but clasp my ears, thinking, "Forget the warmth that happened before. She spoiled the mood."

Reflecting on my abilities, I realized I had physical enhancements beyond normal people. I could sense things faster and easier, hear sounds both near and far, and feel when something was wrong or when something bad was about to happen. My white eye would turn deep red just before a life-threatening event, and half a second later, something threatening would occur. Speaking of sensing, 3. There are three people who have been following me, more like stalking me for the past 2 days. From the way there are walking and moving I don't think they are aware of each other; they're not working together. How ironic, that they are meant to be on their tippy toe, on high alert and notice anything fast and easy, yet they're not aware of each other's presence. I also discovered I could restore health, not heal, but restore someone to their original state. I noticed this ability when I carried an injured dog; when I touched it, it reverted to its original state, which was still bad but not as severe. I took the dog to a vet, who treated its wound, and the dog barked and licked the vet happily. Despite the joy I felt inside, it didn't show on my face. These past three days, Mitsumi had been withdrawn, either sleeping or on her phone.
