"Ouuuu, looks like something happened between you guys while I was away," Mitsumi teased, her voice dripping with curiosity as she slid into the seat across from us in the bustling cafeteria. Her eyes flitted between us, sharp and speculative, as though she were examining a piece of trash that had suddenly turned into gold and was now trying to figure out the secret alchemy behind it.

I could feel her gaze lingering, heavy with implication, and it made me shift uncomfortably in my seat. Pineapple, sitting beside me, sighed in exasperation. "Nothing happened," he said, his tone flat but tinged with irritation. "It just started raining while Ryoko and I were out, so she stayed at my house for the night." He paused, shooting Mitsumi a glance that clearly conveyed his frustration with her wild imagination. It was like he was trying to reason with her—and her single-celled brain.

Mitsumi, however, just continued to stare, a sly grin creeping across her face as if she wasn't buying it for a second.

"Did you guys sleep in the same room?" Mitsumi raised her eyebrows, her expression laden with innuendo as though the question carried a much deeper implication than it deserved. Her smirk only added to the smugness radiating from her.

The second the words left her mouth, a wave of heat rushed to my face, and irritation flared up inside me. My hands clenched, and I could feel my patience fraying. I shot her a sharp look, already fed up with her teasing. "Okay, I think it's time you shut your mouth now," I snapped, leaning in with an edge to my voice that left no room for argument.

Without waiting for her reaction, I reached over and pinched her lips together, silencing her mid-smirk. "Way too much rubbish has been spilling out from it," I added, my fingers pressing lightly against her skin, half-annoyed and half-amused at how easily I could shut her up. Mitsumi blinked in surprise, her eyes wide, but she couldn't suppress the muffled giggle behind her pursed lips, clearly enjoying pushing my buttons.

"You guys, we are really late for our math's class." Pineapple shouted in realization as he tugged gently at my hands to let go of her lips. she immediately let out a frustrated sigh. She clearly wasn't happy about going for Math class.

As we walked, a strange sensation prickled at the back of my neck. The feeling of being watched crept up on me, setting my nerves on edge. The hairs on my arms stood on end, the uneasy tension making them bristle. I glanced around, my eyes scanning the walls that flanked us, and my pulse quickened. Something wasn't right.

Without warning, my vision sharpened. My white eye shifted to a deep, glowing red as I focused on the wall beside us. Someone was there, lurking in the shadows, hidden but not invisible to me. I instinctively stepped ahead of Pineapple and Mitsumi, my movements deliberate, and stopped in front of the wall.

"I've found you," I said, my voice low and steady, cutting through the still air. "Hide and seek is over. Come out."

Mitsumi and Pineapple froze behind me, exchanging a glance filled with confusion. They stared at me like I had just lost my mind, their bewilderment clear in the silence that followed. But I didn't waver. I knew someone was there, even if they couldn't see what I could.

The bastard remained unmoving, still remained inside the wall as if he thought he could still get away with playing this game. I narrowed my eyes. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Pineapple already fumbling for his phone, no doubt about to call the school nurse. Mitsumi, on the other hand, had started walking toward me, her footsteps cautious but determined, as if she were about to intervene. "Mitsumi, don't move." My voice was sharp, and I shot her a death stare to make it clear that I wasn't joking. She froze mid-step, surprise and fear flashing in her eyes. "Still wanna play pretend, huh? I'll be happy to bring out your stupid ass out here myself." I continued.
