.Shehnaaz stormed into the hostel, her eyes brimming with tears, and her heart heavy with disgust. She recounted the entire ordeal to her friends, her voice trembling with anger and hurt.
"I can't believe Sidharth would do something like that!" she exclaimed, her friends listening intently.
But then, one of her friends hesitantly spoke up, "Sana, I think there's been a misunderstanding."
"What do you mean?" Shehnaaz asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
"We were the ones who changed your clothes, not Sidharth," her friend explained gently. "He's the one who found you and brought you to his place to take care of you."
Shehnaaz's eyes widened in shock, her mind reeling with the revelation. "Oh no...what have I done?" she whispered, her face pale with regret.
Her friends nodded in unison, "You misunderstood him, Sana. Sidharth's a good guy. He would never do something like that."
......
Shehnaaz stood outside Sidharth's house, her heart racing with anticipation and nervousness. She had been wanting to apologize to him for the past week, but he hadn't come to college, and she hadn't been able to reach him.
Taking a deep breath, she approached the door and knocked. The caretaker answered, his expression stern. "Yes?"
"I'm here to see Sidharth," Shehnaaz said, her voice firm.
The caretaker shook his head. "Sid sir is not here."
Shehnaaz's heart sank. "When will he be back?"
The caretaker shrugged. "I don't know. He's been away for a few days."
Shehnaaz nodded, disappointment washing over her. She had been hoping to apologize in person, but now it seemed like that wouldn't be possible.
........Shehnaaz approached Samir, her eyes searching for answers. "Samir, where is Sidharth? I need to talk to him."
Samir shrugged, his expression nonchalant. "He's at the club, Roar. If you want to reach him, you can go there."
Shehnaaz's heart raced as she made her way to the club. She had to apologize to Sidharth and clear up the misunderstanding. When she arrived, she spotted Sidharth sitting at the bar, nursing a drink.
She approached him, her hands trembling slightly. "Sidharth, I need to talk to you."
Sidharth turned to her, his eyes cold and distant. "What is it, Shehnaaz?"
She took a deep breath and launched into her apology, but Sidharth cut her off mid-sentence.
"I don't want to hear it, Shehnaaz. You've made it clear what you think of me."
Shehnaaz's eyes stung as she realized Sidharth was still hurt from their previous encounter. "Sidharth, please listen to me..."
But he stood up, his eyes flashing with anger. "No, Shehnaaz. I don't want to hear your excuses. You've ruined everything."
Sidharth's eyes narrowed, his voice low and husky. "If you're really apologetic, Shehnaaz, then kiss me."
Shehnaaz's eyes widened in shock. "What are you saying, Sidharth? I'm trying to apologize for my mistake, not...not kiss you!"
Sidharth's expression turned cold. "Either you're truly sorry and willing to make amends, or you're just pretending. I want to see if you're genuinely remorseful."
Shehnaaz shook her head, her voice firm. "I'm not going to kiss you, Sidharth. I want to apologize for what I did, but I'm not going to do something that makes me uncomfortable."
With that, she turned and walked away from the club, leaving Sidharth standing alone. She hailed a taxi and got in, but before she could close the door, Sidharth appeared beside her.
"Get in, I'll drive you home," he said, his voice gruff.
......
Shehnaaz hesitated, unsure if she should get in the car with Sidharth. "I don't know, Sidharth. I don't think it's a good idea."
Sidharth's expression turned persistent. "Come on, Shehnaaz. I promise I'll drive you home safely. We can talk more about everything."
Shehnaaz sighed, finally relenting. "Fine, but just to talk."
As they drove, Sidharth broke the silence. "Sana, I know I have a bad image when it comes to dating and girls. But I want you to know that I never touch anyone without their consent. I respect women, and I would never do anything to hurt them."
Shehnaaz listened intently, her expression softening. "I'm sorry, Sidharth. I misjudged you. Can we start fresh and be friends?"
Sidharth's face lit up with a warm smile. "I'd like that, Shehnaaz. Let's start anew."
..As Sidharth drove Shehnaaz to her hostel, they chatted amiably, the tension between them dissipating. When they arrived, Sidharth got out of the car and walked her to the entrance.
"Thanks for the ride, Sidharth," Shehnaaz said, smiling up at him.
Sidharth smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Anytime, Shehnaaz. Take care."
But just as Shehnaaz turned to leave, she suddenly spun back around and stood on her tiptoes, her lips brushing against Sidharth's cheek in a soft, gentle kiss.
Sidharth's eyes widened in shock, his face frozen in surprise. He didn't move, didn't react, as Shehnaaz pulled back and smiled mischievously.
"Goodnight, Sidharth," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, before turning and flitting into the hostel.
Sidharth stood there, his cheek still tingling from the touch of her lips, his mind reeling with shock and confusion. What had just happened?!
As he stood there, trying to process the sudden turn of events, Shehnaaz's kiss burned on his cheek like a branding iron, leaving him with a sense of wonder and a dash of hope.
The night air seemed to vibrate with possibility as Sidharth stood there, his heart racing with excitement, his mind whirling with the promise of what could be.
And as he finally turned to leave, a soft smile spread across his face,
