Sana fumed as she delivered Sid's lunch to his office. This was the third time today she'd had to see him
"Why do I have to be the one to bring you your meals?" she asked, trying to keep her tone neutral.
Sid looked up from his phone, a smirk on his face. "Because, Sana, I want to see you. And I want to remind you of your place."
Sana's eyes flashed with anger, but she bit her tongue. She needed this job, and she couldn't afford to lose it.
As she turned to leave, Sid called out, "And Sana?"
"Yes?" she replied, her voice tight.
"Don't think about trying to avoid me. I'll always find you."
Sana shivered at the threat, but she refused to show him how much he affected her. She walked out of his office, determined to find a way to outsmart him and escape this toxic game of cat and mouse.
But for now, she was trapped. And Sid knew it.
.........Sidharth seemed to take pleasure in making Sana's life miserable, but with a twist. He started leaving her little reminders of their night together, teasing her with tiny details that only she would understand.
On her desk, she'd find a bookmark with a note that said "Page 37" - the exact page where they'd stopped reading together in the library. Or, her phone would play the song that was playing in the background while they studied, making her heart skip a beat.
Sana tried to brush it off, but Sidharth's attention to detail was unsettling. He remembered everything - the way she took her coffee, the book she was reading, even the scent of her perfume.
One day, as she delivered his lunch, she found a small note on his desk that said "You still owe me a dance". Sana's heart raced as she remembered their whispered promise in the library, to dance under the stars together.
She felt like she was losing control, like Sidharth was slowly reeling her back in. And despite her best efforts, she couldn't help but wonder - did he still feel something for her too?
Or he playing same game again
Sana's eyes flashed with anger as she scribbled the note. "Stop playing the same game with me. I hate you."
She left the note on Sidharth's desk, hoping he would finally get the message.
But when Sidharth saw the note, he just smiled. "I like it when you get angry," he said to himself, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
He couldn't help it. Sana's anger was like a challenge to him, a sign that he was getting under her skin.
He leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together as he thought. "I wonder what would happen if I pushed her a little further..."
Sana, meanwhile, was trying to calm down. She had reacted exactly as Sidharth had wanted her to, and she knew it.
But she couldn't help it. Sidharth had a way of getting under her skin like no one else.
As she walked back to her desk, she saw Sidharth watching her, a smirk on his face.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" she accused, trying to keep her cool.
Sidharth just shrugged. "Maybe a little."
Sana rolled her eyes. "You're impossible."
Sidharth grinned. "That's what makes me so lovable."
