so anyways the next few weeks were kinda harsh for kaia. shes been feeling rlly bad so she decided to take a pregnancy test since we did the devils ooga booga salsa dance not too long ago. she came to my house and took it while i was home alone. i waited anxiously outside the bathroom door. then she opened it.
"what does it say?" i ask.
"idk we gotta wait a few mins." she said.
those next few minutes felt like centuries. like fall out boy. finally, when the timer was up, she slowly flipped the test up to reveal the answer. and then we saw............

i flipped over the pregnancy test and saw 1 line. i was not preggo.
"OMG JAMES THIS IS AMAZING!" i yelled. i was only 17, and i didnt wanna be preggo so young. james just stared at me blankly.
"james?" i question. "james isnt this good?"
"no," he looked down. "THIS IS AWFUL!" he then yelled. "WHY ARENT U PREGGO? I WANTED A KID. I WANTED TO BE A DADDDDDDDD!!!"
"james..." i wanted to explain to him all the reasons as to why we shouldnt have a kid.
"NO. I DONT WANNA HEAR IT. WE R DONE. OUR FRIENDSHIP IS RUINED. AND I WAS GONNA ASK U TO BE MY GF TOO. BUT NOT ANYMORE."
"james what?" i was really confused and i didnt know what was going on.
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSEEEEEEEEEEE! GET OUT I DONT EVER WANNA SEE UR STUPID FACE AGAIN!"
i walked away with tears in my eyes (i begged u to stay u said hey man i love u but no fucking way). i got in my car and facetimed the queen herself samantha.
"samantha.." i stared.
"kaia! whats wrong?" she could visibly tell something was fishy.
i told her what happened and she was in shock at first. "well actually, i kinda saw it coming. yk i never rlly liked james anyway. there was always smth ab him that rubbed me the wrong way."
"ur right. but i was starting to rlly fall in love with him. like, i js want someone i can settle down with. obviously i dont wanna move in and have kids and get married yet, but i want a boyfriend. i want someone that i can be loved by, someone that i can love. i want someone there for me, i want someone i can cuddle with and go on movie dates and go to the beach with." i kept ranting to samantha.
