"so then I was like girl, please who are you talking to!" Cole says laughing to himself and leaning against the kitchen counter.

I think he has took a liking to me over these past days. or maybe he's just friendly.

he's talking to me about how he was arguing with this girl at Marcos work. I found out Cole is one of Marcos friends and he is Marcos assistant manager for this.. business?

Emi has been ignoring me ever since the incident. but I don't care, I didn't really wanna be friends anyway, it's not like I've made friends in the past.

Cole is my first friend ever.

"Valentina! are you listening? u look like ur in a world with unicorns and rainbows." he says taking a grape and popping it in his mouth.

"I'm fine, just figured out you're my first friend."

Cole looks at me shocked then smiles

"I'm your first friend. that makes me so happy."he says popping another grape in his mouth and chewing loudly.

I hit his shoulder playfully and laugh

"don't make it sound like that!" I say and Cole starts laughing.

his laughter quickly dies down

"what? Is there something on my face?" I say still laughing.

Cole mouths 'look behind you.' with no expression on his face.

I see Marco behind me with Emi. she has cuts all over her face. He looks pissed.

"what the fuck did you do to Emily! I knew I shouldn't have let you live. you hurt her!" Marco says pointing to a crying face Emi.

I look at Cole and look back to Marco.

"I was here the whole time with Cole I swear!" I say pointing to Cole waiting for him to speak.

"she was i-" Cole says but he got cut off by a bang.

"Slience Cole!" Marco says slamming his fist on the kitchen counter and walking close to me.

"you put your fucking hands on Emily when i was gone." Marco grabbed my arm and threw me on the ground.

i winced as i grabbed my journal that was nearby. i knew where this was headed.

Marco grabbed my hair and pulled me to my room. he practically threw me in my room and locked the door behind him after he left.

is this where my story ends?
