Chapter FOUR: "amusement" 第四章「娯楽」

"ARE YOU GUYS okay? What about you, little girl? I cant believe how bad that guy is!" King began to bad mouth, Luffy fixing his hat as he stood up. "So what's the plan, Luffy?" (Y/n) asked walking up beside Luffy, said boy began climb in over the wall, (Y/n) turning into a bird and flying above him.
(Y/n)'s bird form landed on Luffys shoulder, the two now in front of the man. "So I hear you're a bad guy." Luffys voice echoed in the empty field, (Y/n) began ruffling her feathers. "You still here?" Zoro groaned in exasperation, "Being stuck out here for all the world to see...and nothing. Are you really all that strong?" Luffy walked forward, a calm expression on his face.
"Mind your own business!" The greenette shouted, "Cant say that like Luffy to do that..." (Y/n) sweat dropped, a nervous chuckle falling front her lips as she flew up from Luffy's shoulder, turning human.
"W-What the hell?!" It was safe to say that Zoro was totally confused, a bird had just turned into a girl...what the fuck?!
"If it were me, I'd probably starve to death in three days!" Luffy laughed, holding his hat. "Closer to a few hours, but whatever." (Y/n) chuckled, the two teenagers stood before Zoro, (Y/n) had her hands in her pockets, her hand gripping her knife in case something happened while Luffy looked as carefree as ever.
"Oh cmon. I've got more spirit than you could ever possibly have." The greenette scoffed, "I seriously doubt that..." (Y/n) glanced at her nails, blowing a raspberry, Zoro shot a glare at the blue haired teenager before ignoring her, continuing on.
"I will live through this ordeal, this I swear..."
Luffy chuckled, about to walk off, "What a weirdo." (Y/n) spoke, stuffing her hands in her pockets, following after Luffy.
"Wait!" Zoro shouted, the two pirates turned around in curiosity, "Hm?" "Could you...pick that up for me." 'Grassy' asked, looking down at the pile of crushed rice beside the twos feet. "You're gonna eat this?" Luffy crouched down, his hands outstretched as he complied, gathering the food in his palms. "It's just dirt at this point" (Y/n) added, leaning to the side.
"Shut up and give it here!!" Zoro snapped, veins popping from his temples. "H-Huh..." Luffy had a surprised look on her face as he contemplated slightly. "Just give it to him, Luffy." (Y/n) grumbled, eyeing the green male suspiciously.
She watched the tied up man eat it with a pained gulp, coughs following it. Luffy stood up, his arms crossed, 'guess he likes him...' "Should've listened to me..." Luffy shrugged, an 'I told you so' look present on his face.
"It was good." (Y/n) raised her brow in interest, maybe she wouldn't mind this new crew member. "Thanks...for the food." Zoro spoke to no one in particular, his eyes being covered by his bandana. Luffy let out a hum in thought, eying the green haired man expectantly.
"Really?!" The voice from the little girl asked excitedly, the three teenager gathered around the brunette. "He ate every last bite, pipsqueak!" (Y/n) teased ruffling the girls hair. "That's great!" The little girl smiled, "I wonder if Zoro really is as evil as everybody says he is..." Koby asked himself, (Y/n) shrugged her shoulders I thought.
"He's not!" (Y/n) jumped slightly when the little girl practically shoved (Y/n) into a wall to get a look at Koby. "He's good...he got himself punished for me"
"Your uh...you're making no sense..." Luffy said rather rudely, "Sorry...it's that dang helmeppa's fault..." the girl apologized, (Y/n) walked down these streets and leaving the three there.
Somehow with her sense of direction, she ended up standing in front of a wild Zoro. "Hey, dude. What was your name again?" (Y/n) asked, scratching her chin in thought. "Get out of here, kid!" Mosshead spoke, his head coming up to look at the girl in front of him.
She had pale blue hair, quite tall, maybe around six foot? She had glowing crimson eyes and pale skin, she looked roughly around his age. "Hmph..." (Y/n) turned around, criss cross apple sauce, her back to the tied up man.
"Are you pouting, right now? Really?" Zoro deadpanned, the girl snapped her head to the side, avoiding his gaze. "I'm not a kid!" (Y/n) huffed, crossing her arm as her chest puffed up.
"I don't care how old you are, just get out of here!" Zoro seemingly scolded, "Hey! I should call you 'old man'!" She shouted, snapping her gaze to the Mosshead. "I'll have you know I'm nineteen!" He shouted, a tick mark appearing on his temple.
"Oh, you really are old..."
"HEY SHUT IT! YOU ACT LIKE YOUR NOT MY AGE!" Zoro scolded, his eyes Turing white in irritation. "It's cuz I'm not, old man." She made sure the 'old man' part was loud and clear.
"What are you? Seventeen— know what I don't care! Get outta here!" The Mosshead shouted again, stomping his foot animatedly. "Nuh huh. I'm fifteen , old man. Better not start calling me names, you might get sent to jail if someone interprets things wrong..." An evil look scrawled onto (Y/n)'s face, a toothy grin revealing itself. A hand suddenly resting on (Y/n)'s shoulder.
"You again. You sure have a lot of free time." Zoro muttered, looking at the younger male. "Don't you have things to do?"
"I'll untie you but only if you promise to join my crew." Luffy spoke, getting straight to the point. "Your what?!" Zoro accusingly asked, voice overflowing with judgement. "I run a pirate crew and I'm looking for people to join up." The strawhat said matter of factly.
"Forget it! Me, stooping to a criminals level? Screw that!" He turned his gaze away from Luffy, glaring at the ground, (Y/n) standing beside the shorter boy. "Heeeeyyyy...give captain a sec to explain.." (Y/n) whined, a teasing smirk on her face as she continued. "Old man."
Just as Zoro was about to shout out some insult, Luffy interrupted him. "And what's wrong with being a pirate?"
"They're despicable! As if I'd ever want to be one!" Zoro grounded out, glaring daggers at Luffy, if he had his fingers loose, he'd point an accusing one at Luffy. "Oh! Come on! Gimme a break! Everybody already knows you as some evil bounty hunter always out for blood." (Y/n) raised a brow at the greenette, the mood getting rather complicated.
"People can say whatever they want about me. But I never done anything that I regret."
An amused smirk became noticeable on (Y/n)'s face as she looked at the pirate hunter, damn, was this going to be fun or what?
