It's been a week since I ran into Nicholas, saw him at the party, and tried to find him again at another. It's like Nicholas doesn't want to be found. At least by me anyways. I've gone through everything I can think of to try and find him. Might as well go cry into my pillow. It was Wednesday afternoon and all my classes were over. I was in my dorm room watching glee and eating popcorn. Glee always makes me happy, even in the worst times. I was wearing my fall out boy concerts T-shirt, black and white Aztec leggings and my black house boots. I heard the door open then close "hey girl I got some great news!" sophia said as she sat her backpack down and sat on her bed. She wore maroon skinny jeans, a white blouse, a black cardigan, with black toms. "What?" I asked. She better not be taking me to another party
"Okay you know Brenda right?" I nodded. Brenda was one of our friends that we have known since the first day of collage "well I found out that her and nick are in the same advanced English class! We are all going to dinner and play laser tag on Saturday!" I nearly choked on my popcorn. Saturday? Which Nicholas? I was excited "really?" I kinda yelled "yup" she said popping the 'P'
I smiled to myself. I couldn't wait till Saturday
-time skip to Saturday-
It was 12 o'clock. We were going to go play laser tag at 3 but we are going to eat lunch first. I was getting ready with my hair in loose curls. I wore a American flag sweatshirt, light blue ripped skinny jeans, brown combat boot, and I had my brown satchel. Sophia had her hair in tight curls and wore a loose thin grey sweater, black leggings, and  boots that went to her knees. It was fall so it wasn't hot but it wasn't freezing cold. Me and Sophia got into her car and started to make our way to Olive Garden. We are planning on meeting Brenda and Nicholas there. Once we arrived Sophia texted Brenda that we were already there. Brenda said they would be there in 10 minutes so for us to get a table booth. we walked up to the host and I said "table for 4 please?' she got out four menu's "follow me this way" and started walking to a table booth. Sophia and I sat next to each other and texted Brenda to text when they were here. A man that looked about our age with brown curly hair walked up to us "hi I'm Colton and ill be your waiter today. Are we waiting for 2 more?' he said "um yes they should be here soon" Sophia said putting down her phone "okay what can I get you girls to drink?' he asked taking out a notepad "ill have a sweet tea" Sophia said "ill have a water" I said. he wrote down our orders "okay ill be right back with those drinks." he said and walked away. Sophia's phone buzzed and she checked it. "they are here. ill be right back" she said and got up and walked to the front of the restaurant. she came back 2 minutes later with Brenda and Nicholas. I was playing a game to pass the time on my phone then looked up. I was staring at him. At Nicholas. He was hot. He work white jeans, with a grey pull over and jordans. he had messy bed hair. Brenda wore a pastel sweater, mint skinny jeans, black high top converse. Her hair was black and her tips were died red and was pulled up into a ponytail. "hey!" I said a they sat down. Sophia sat across rom me as Nicholas sat next to me. Colton came back and gave me and Sophia our drinks and took Brenda and Nicholas order.

[time skip after dinner]

since Brenda rode in Nicholas car Brenda and Sophia said I needed to rid with him. I got in his car and buckled up. He started his car and drove out the parking lot. the laser tag place was about 20 minutes away so we had time to talk. we drove in silence for 5 minutes until I broke it "when we ran into each other a few weeks ago in the halls, who were you texting?" I asked curiosity rising in me. "huh? oh I was texting my girlfriend" he said not breaking eye contact with the road "oh" I said. my heart broke. I pretty much did all of this for noting. "well ex girlfriend" he said. I felt better now. I smiled inside "why did you break up?" I looked at him. "she was to demanding. Also I didn't love her. I liked someone else. and I still like that girl" I wonder who the girl was. I hear my heart literally shatter. wait why was I doing this again? I literally should give up. I didn't say anything else. I couldn't. its like my mouth didn't want me to say anything else. I guess he realized I didn't want to talked because he puled over and turned off the car "um what are you doing because im to young to di-" he cut me off by kissing me. I kissed him back. we kissed for what felt like forever. I didn't want to stop the kiss but we had to. we broke apart and he said "your the girl I liked." he said and we kissed again until my phone buzzed. Sophia was calling me "yeah?" I asked "where are you?! we are already here!" she said on the other line. "we are almost there." I said back "well hurry up" I hung up the phone and looked at Nicholas. "it was Sophia. they are waiting for us" I said and sighed. he started up his car and drove to laser tag.  We got there in 10 minutes. I texted Sophia that we had arrived and to meet us at the front. she texted back that they were waiting near the parking lot. we drove up to laser tag and Nicholas parked the car. when I got out I spotted Sophia and Brenda talking at the entrance. me and Nicholas walked up to them. a lot of things raced in my mind. not about laser tag but about Nicholas.

are we still nothing?

ill admit, i had no idea how to take this all in. Yeah sure I have had a few boyfriends in my life, but none have been like Nicholas. he was different, in a good way.

"well who's ready to get beaten at laser tag?" Nicholas said. "yeah sure like your going to win"  I said and walked into the laser tag place. The cool thing about laser tag is you can pick cool names that not your actual name and when you finish the game you player card name pops up into the screen and says what place your in. I have a lot of experience with laser tag. I used to play with my twin brother, Jackson, and our little sister, Marie. I of course always came in second by one point with Jackson in first and Marie in 7th. I had a lot of fun memories with my siblings but when m and Jackson went to collage in Oklahoma and I in Minnesota. Marie is in 6th grade now and we Skype a lot but sadly I barley visit, only on holidays.

i walked up the to counter to a lady with red straighten hair, a laser quest uniform that's a purple shirt with black pants, and black glasses. she looked about in her early thirties. "hello and welcome to laser quest. name?" she asked me. i had to think of something clever. "voldemort" I said. she chuckled. she typed my name on her computer and 20 seconds later I was given a key to put in my laser gun. once we all said our named, Sophia was Aphrodite, Brenda was Clifford the big red dog, and i think just to be funny Nicholas was Dora the explorer.  We waited by a door until we entered to play and learn gone rules. We waited for 5 minutes until they finally let us in. "Okay so here are the rules. Once you get hit your gun will not shoot for about 10 seconds. Do not run because it is dark. Once the loud alarm rings your time is up. Walk toward the flashing lights to exit. Got it?" A man said. "Yeah!" And "yes!" Came from the crowd. He opened the doors to where the guns were. I got gun number 17 and slid in my key. Voldemort came up on a little screen on the gun. Nicholas walked up to me, Brenda, and Sophia "get ready to get your asses kicked" he said determined to win "I wouldn't bet on in" I said. The man finally said "ready? START!" I ran in leaving the gang behind. I shot a lot of people. I think half the time Nicholas was getting me other than everyone else because every 5 seconds I got hit. So I got him back. After 15 minutes of playing the alarm went off and we all walked out. I looked at the screen at places. "Ha! First place! Beat that!" I said rubbing it into Nicholas' face. He laughed and put his hands up in surrender. "Okay okay. I'll admit you got game." He said "well of course I got game I just beat you." I said "rematche?" He said "um duh" I said "um actually me and Brenda are going to be going" Sophia said "oh. We'll see you later." I said goodbye as they left. After 30 minutes of beating Nicholas it was time to go. He drove back to the collage and to my dorm. Being the gentleman he is, he walked me to my room. "I had fun today." He said "me too" I said and smiled "how about we hang out Friday?" I blushed "like as a date?"
"Only if you want it to be a date..." He scratched the back of his neck "then yeah. Friday is good" I smiled and he smiled back "I'll pick you up at 7" he said. He kissed my cheek and walked away.
I walked into the room and plopped down on my bed
Tonight was the best night of my life
