The portal to Hell opened and a horde of exorcists flew down towards the glowing building down below. They descended like avenging angels towards Vee's tower, where unfamiliar overlords stood and stuck out from the rest of the crowd around them. They have to be the ones that Alastor mentioned, Vox, the tv headed overlord, Valentino, the taller of the three, and Velvette, the smallest who stood like there isn't exorcists flying towards her at the very moment.

They stood with their enslaved sinners, who most likely got dragged into a war they barely understood. Forced to fight for their cruel masters. This kind of thing is exactly why they all deserve to be down here. Sinners are nothing but vicious beasts, and they are doing them all a favor by ending their suffering sooner than later.

Among the hundreds of exorcists, one specific one wasted no time to lunge forward, his blade slicing through multiple sinners in one swoop. Anthony laughed, the energy flowing through his body. Most exorcists get like this on extermination day. It's thrilling, seeing the life die from their eyes as he puts them out of their misery, despite them deserving more. If he could, he would torture them like they deserve. But he's here for the numbers, to beat his score last extermination.

"Six already! Woo!" Anthony cheered as he raised his blade high in the air, which already had red blood dripping from the tip. He wasted no time in scanning for his next target.

But then he saw it. His eyes widened in horror. It wasn't the usual red blood splattering the ground. No. It's golden blood. His body stiffened in shock as he realized what it meant.

Sinners were fighting back, and for the first time ever, they were killing angels.

His body shook, a mix of fear and disbelief coursing through him. His blade lowered as he watched the scene unfold. Sinners using the angel's angelic weapons to harm angels.

Angels can get hurt.

By their own weapons.

He gripped his blade tightly. Without a second thought, he scanned the area and looked around for Husk. He has to make sure he's okay, especially now that the sinners killing back. Despite every exorcist wearing the same clothing and mask, their bodies covered head to toe in clothing, he's spend enough time with Husk to tell him apart from everyone else. His wings are larger and his helmet has a little lump at the top so he can rest his ears more comfortably while still looking like everyone else.

The battlefield was a chaotic mess. The air thick with the strong scent of blood. Loud sounds of angelic blades clashing echoed around him, loud static noises coming from a whole different area. Anthony looked closer towards where the volts of electricity was coming from. He couldn't see much from the area, just blue wires flying occasionally out of the dusty area and white tentacles that he could recognize from anywhere. Alastor. He's busying himself with one of the three overlords, most likely the tv headed one that he saw while flying down.

Is Husk in there? Is he helping Alastor fight? No, can't be. Alastor's ego is too big to have someone help assist him.

"ANGEL!"

Angel's head snapped in the direction of the call, his eyes locking onto a short seemingly robotic figure. Her large red glowing eyes focused on Angel with her teeth glowing bright blue. Her hands were raised with a knife wrapped around her small fingers and moved quickly to move her hand down.

Anthony reacted instinctively, his body moving more on its own than anything else, and his leg lashed out in a powerful kick that sent Kitty flying. It wasn't even a powerful kick, it was just a move of pure instinct, but he assumed it must be because of her small form that it had a powerful impact. It felt more like kicking a soccer ball flying at you, you're not worried about the impact, you're just worried about it not hitting you.
