"We should hope we don't run into any monsters on this floor."
Three adventurers strode around the dark long hallway looking forward as they bit their lips in fear. They continued as the hallway went on and on and they wondered how long until they found their missing friend.
They went out on a mission to go deep into the dungeon and get riches before everyone but they met a monster and that thing annihilated their party. Luckily, corpse retrievers found them, but one of their party was missing.
"Man, how long is this hallway?"
they continued through the endless maze of walls before one of them stopped gasping in surprise.
"Hey is that a campfire?" One of them questioned, pointed out whilst the other members looked in the direction. A distant campfire light illuminates the dark hallway. As they get closer their eyes widen at what they are currently seeing. Their missing friend is on the floor and something or a living thing is chewing on a chicken leg right by him.
"Is that a deer? Wait- perhaps a.. monster?" The humanoid deer looks up in surprise before smiling widely at them.
"Hey, are you in this person's party? I've found them lying on the floor, probably dead." The demi-human spoke.
