Ever since Dad told me he was getting married to Martha,I felt like my whole world was turning upside down. Mom had been gone for 2 years, and it was just Dad and me. I was used to being his princess, the center of his universe. Martha seemed like this horrible evil witch with no fashion taste, and I couldn't shake the feeling that she was trying to take Mom's place.Like eww go away nobody wants you here.

One day, I couldn't hold in my frustration anymore. Dad was at work, and Martha was busy in the shower. I saw her shampoo sitting there, and a crazy idea popped into my head. Maybe if Martha had a little mishap, Dad would see she was never perfect.

I grabbed a bottle of green food coloring from the kitchen and carefully poured it into Martha's shampoo bottle. It felt like a harmless prank at the time, just something to lighten the tension I felt around her. But when Martha came out of the bathroom with bright green hair, the shock on her face was something I hadn't anticipated.

I thought it was really funny.
"OMG I would've never guessed you were the wicked witch this whole time" lol
,but the reality hit me hard when Dad came home. He was furious. He'd always been patient with me, but this time, I had gone too far. He didn't yell. Instead, he looked disappointed, which hurt even more. That night, he told me his decision: I was going to boarding school.

Boarding school was gonna be like a different universe compared to my  life right now. I was totally gonna miss my friends and most importantly MY CLOSET.
