...chenji... didn't ring a bell to her. but it was the same company. being in the same city was already enough for her. being in the same company? that raised the chances of meeting a whole 80 percent.
"i really don't know... i'm sure hajun and doyoon oppa would be great for it. but me? i'm really just good at taking videos of myself, yeah?" that was a lie that anyone could detect. her current job may be a youtuber, but her all time goal was to debut as a producer. that was another big reason she came to seoul.
"oh you've got to be kidding, ahyeon. you've had the dream of becoming a professional pd all your life." hajun added.
"...and i heard all the other artists are abroad for kcon." doyoon finally added reassuring ahyeon that nct were not going to be around the following day.
"yeah yeah i don't know why that's a good thing, but i heard all the groups but chenji are in the US right now." dahyeon added.
as hajun and dahyeon weren't close to the kwon siblings when he was around, they both had no idea what was going on in their minds. but doyoon's comment that every other group were to be at another country, made her think.
it truly was her dream to put her hands on the professor tech and gear and possibly meet others that can help her out in the future.
"okay... i'll take it."
in that second, the sound of a notification chimed through the four's ears:

she didn't give the notification another look. it was normal for her to get these type of notifications from new fans of her youtube channel. as she bought a new phone shortly after their arrival to seoul, she had forgotten to turn the notifications off.
"okay guys. i'm sure we have a lot of unpacking to do. dahyeon, i'll help you out, but only this once. ask me ahead of time if there is anything like this in the future though..."
dahyeon immediately tackled ahyeon with hugs.
"thank you thank you thank you. dinner is on me."

"again! five, six, seven, eight. one and two and three and four and-." donghyuck let out in a voice that all the dreamies identified as a donghyuck is overpracticing tone.
"geez, what's gotten into you?" chenle asked the tan skinned hyung.
he had been his hyper self just a couple of hours ago. just before he had furiously scrolled through his phone.
"it's nothing... let's just go back to practicing for kcon. jaemin i think your turn here in this part didn't quite match with mark's. maybe we can add a little more heel....yeah that would be better and jisung ah i know you're the center here but..."
"okay okay. we should take five, guys. donghyuck, come here for a moment." the leader called out with his eyes focused on donghyuck.
mark new something was definitely off. whenever donghyuck had something in his head he tended to run off to practice and make every move and turn into perfection. it was nice for the team's progress, but the things he says and the way he pushes the members in the progress... may go a little far.
"what's up." donghyuck asked.
"what's going on? is there something bothering you? you know... you don't act like this unless..."
"yeah. she's in seoul again." donghyuck finished the leader's sentence with a weary breath.
between the dreamies, only mark knows his past with ahyeon. long story short, donghyuck had just turned twenty and had one too many drinks with 127. drunk donghyuck had cried on and on about what had happened and how he wanted to drop everything and go bavk to the small twon in jeju. the next day, mark promised to keep the whole situation a secret from the dreamies. but every time ahyeon steps her foot on seoul, donghyuck loses a part of his stability and mark is by his side.
how does he know she's here? that's because he has never missed a single post or story or upload from the girl's social media. sometimes he just has the need to see her and tracks down the location of her recent stories. dressed head to toe in black with an unpleased but hyung mode mark by his side, he looks for ahyeon. crazy? yes he knows. but what's even crazier is that you'd think as she's such a big influencer that she would be spottable. but not once has donghyuck succeeded in finding her in the small heart of seoul.
"but hyung, what's crazier is that she says she's staying."
