The next morning was rather eventful for the Princess since she could be seen outside of the apartment in the lobby of the company building.

She darted from place to place, huffing frustratedly and balling her long, fluorescent, yellow dress into her small fists.

Zack was busying himself with mounds of reports, the worst part of his job, in his opinion.

He loved his work, but anything that was tedious and long ruined the experience.

As he carried the readied documents for Director Lazard, he caught the girl talking to the receptionist, who was eager to call security.

"Are you sure they can help me find him?"

"Oh, sure, honey! Security's great at that."

Zack rushed over and stopped the receptionist, "Uh, please! Don't worry about her! She's with us, under direct orders of Director Lazard."

Snow White glanced at Zack in surprise and blinked in surprise. The shock left her slightly speechless and confused. Wasn't the receptionist going to help her-

"Are you sure she's not another crazy fan of General Sephiroth?"

"Absolutely, haha! Sorry for the trouble!"

The receptionist rolled her eyes as Zack guided Snow White to the elevator. She stopped him and looked at him worriedly, "Sir, I apologise, but do you know where I can find Prince Sephiroth?"

Zack's eyes widened, attempting to hold in his mass of laughter, "I think he's on duty today. Is something wrong?"

"Can you take me to him?" She looked at him pleadingly, "It seems he's forgotten his lunch."

The 2nd class SOLDIER noticed the large basket in her hand, that look filled to the brim.

"Wow," He was utterly impressed, "That's very kind of you."

"Oh, but he's done so much for me," Snow White smiled softly, "And he even enjoyed my cooking last night!"

"You cooked for him?" Zack almost shouted.

"Why yes!"

"Hmm," He hummed in thought, "Well, let's go together and see if we can find him."

"Oh, thank you!" She sighed in relief, a small smile grew on her face, "What's your name, kind sir? Are you a prince too?"

"Haha..." Zack rubbed the back of head shyly, "I'm no Prince! I'm Zack, 2nd class SOLDIER, Zack Fair."

"2nd class?" Snow White scratched her head in thought, "Prince Genesis mentioned something like that to me..."

The elevator door opened from a stop.

"He's not a-"

"What a coincidence!" Snow White grinned softly as Genesis entered the elevator, "Prince Genesis!"

"Good morning, Princess," He took her hand and pressed a kiss to her knuckles, "Fancy seeing you here. What are you doing here with Zack?"

She clutched the basket and smiled, "It seems Prince Sephiroth forgot his lunch! So, Zack is helping me find him."

Genesis chuckled softly and took the basket from her, "Let me carry this, and we'll go together."

"Oh, that's very sweet of you," the girl glanced up at him, "But aren't you busy?"

"As a matter of fact, I'm not," He smiled slyly, "I say let's all pay a visit to Prince Sephiroth."

"Yes, let's!" She giggled cheerfully as the elevator continued until its final destination.

Sephiroth felt unusually quiet because of the lack of social interaction he had that day.

He hadn't seen Angeal or Zack with his blonde-haired friend he couldn't never remember the name of, and Genesis was usually bothering him at that time of his shift.

Yes, lunch time.

He walked to Director Lazard's office, when all of a sudden, he could hear laughter and soft giggles as soon as the door opened.

Sephiroth instantly regretted his decisions.

"My Prince!" Snow White jumped onto her feet to greet him with a sweet smile, "There you are! We've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Miss, how many times have I told you not to call me that?" He grumbled softly but yelped in surprise once she grabbed his hand and led him to sit down at one of the desks.

"You must be ever so tired!" She looked at him worriedly and placed the basket in front of his face.

"What's all of this?"

"Do you mind if he eats here, Sir Lazard?" Snow White asked, "What trouble it would be to send him back to his home."

"Of course not," Lazard smiled kindly, looking at Sephiroth, "Just as long as he doesn't make a mess."

Sephiroth stared at the basket confusedly.

Snow White glanced at him worriedly, "My Prince?" She held his hand, "What's wrong?"

He took a deep breath and sighed frustratedly, "Why do you do this?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're always finding ways to help me, look after me," Sephiroth's voice grew sad and frustrated, "I've done nothing to justify that."

"But you saved me-"

"That's my job, Princess," He cut her off coldly, "Now, if you'll excuse me." Sephiroth left the office in a swift matter, slamming the door behind him.

The silence grew thick and sickening, as small tears formed in the Princess' eyes.
Everyone was slightly shocked, seeing as to how Sephiroth reacted.

Of course, he was cold and merciless, but nonetheless, no one expected him to react this way towards her kind gestures.

Snow White, too rushed out of the office, her small sniffles trailed behind her meeting everyone's ears.

"Should we follow after her?" Zack asked.

"No," Lazard sighed tiredly, rubbing his temples, "The Turks are on duty in the building, I informed them of her stay."

"Any news for her return?" Genesis crossed his arms, looking concerned.

"Nothing," the director shook his head and pursed his lips, "It looks like she'll be staying with us for a while."

"What in the world could've caused such a thing?"

"All that I can conclude is that she has no way of going back." Lazard stretched his arms out in front of his chest, "For now, keep an eye on Sephiroth and make sure he doesn't cause a ruckus."
