Author's POV
The days kept passing by, and then weeks but Siya didn't open her  eyes. The small injuries of her body like the one near her eyebrow, the scratches on her jaw, the bruise of her lips were already healed. Her neck collar was removed. But she didn't wake up.

Her family decorated her room just like how she likes everything. Colorful curtains, soft toys, couches, coffee table, flower pots. Everything she liked was there. Her friends explained to Shekhawats the concept of good Vibes. Vivan agreed to anything which will be good for her health. The cat stuffed toy she bought when she sneaked out with Ahaan, was always laid beside her.

Two people were jealous of her ‘Billu’. Who else can they be other than Vivan and Coco? They have agreed on a peace treaty, so that they can take care of Siya and cheer her up together without fighting. Also they didn't want to bother her with our constant fights. They thought it would be good if they befriended each other.

Vivan would spend all day sitting on the chair beside her bed. He didn't think of anything else other than her. He would keep looking at her without blinking for hours until he dozed off. He would eat a little, that too only when Tara would remind and feed him with her own hands.

It's been a month since she was in hospital. The plaster from her legs and hands was removed. Her head was still not fully healed, but it was better than earlier. Her cheek was less blue now. And the swelling was also a little less. But she still didn't wake up.

“How long does that child have to suffer, prabhu? When will she wake up? My family has been very vulnerable seeing her in this condition? Don't you feel pity on her? Please Prabhu, please end her suffering. Remember she used to sing Arti for you. She is your devotee, have some mercy on that child of yours.” Tara said to Lord Rama's idol, crying. Begging him to cure Siya.

They all were in their mansion after Vivan's assurance. They would visit Siya and Vivan everyday though. All of them spent almost all their day in the hospital, Vivan insisted they go home at night. And they eventually agreed. But Vivan himself never left Siya's side. He would freshen up there only. His meal was taken to him from the home, otherwise he didn't often realize he was hungry.

“Maa, everything will be alright. Just a few more days and our Siya will be home.” Amrita assured Tara. She looked at the idol with teary eyes and questioning gaze. “She will be home. Right?”

“We have been keeping this hope for the past month, Amrita. When will she be home?” Tara broke into tears for the nth time since that unfortunate day. “Have faith in Prabhu Ram, Tara. Have faith.” Said Maasi Dadi entering the temple and joining her palms in front of Lord Rama's idol. Followed by Kabir and Ahaan.

This was the time for Arti in the morning. Amrita and Siya used to sing the Arti together in the morning. But now there was only Amrita. Siya's absence was felt especially during the Arti. Though she used to sing the Arti with Amrita, Siya was always the one to start, happily. The plate was ready for the Arti. The flowers were ready, Prasad was ready. But no one started.

“O Palan haare, Nirgun O nyare…
O Palan haare, Nirgun O nyare
Tumare bin Hamra kauno nahi
O Palan haare, Nirgun O nyare
Tumare bin Hamra kono nahi”

The Arti was started by Maasi Dadi and then further continued by Amrita.

    “Hamri uljhan, suljhao bhagwan
Tumare bin Hamra kono nahi
Tumhi hamka ho sambhare
Tumhi hamre rakhware
Tumare bin Hamra kono nahi
Tumare bin Hamra kono nahi”
