It's evening. The weather is cloudy and seems to threaten rain. Pravat's car arrived at the house and entered the courtyard. Pravat got out and left the guards standing. Pravat walked in to stop him and asked quietly.

(How is work going for you? Are the trucks ready to go tomorrow evening?)

Pravat answered as he went up to his room

(Everything goes as planned)

Warut waited for Virutt to enter, but no one entered, so he had to go out and call him. He noticed the guards standing and ignored them, calling to Virutt, who was standing in front of him, but he did not recognize him because of his short hair. Virutt turned and spoke in a calm voice.

(Yes sir, I am here)

Warut's eyes widened and became filled with sadness. Virutt had broken his only request. Warut spoke in a calm voice as he turned around and went back inside.

(Follow me Virutt)

Virutt followed him without speaking, as he was very afraid of Virutt.. He entered the office after him, closed the door, and stood upright, looking at the floor. His fingertips were trembling and he was on the verge of crying, but he held himself together like every time to listen to Warut's talk who approached him and raised his head staring at his face while holding some relatively long locks of hair

(Why did you cut your hair, Virutt? It suited you very much. It was beautiful. Why did you cut it, answer me)

Virutt did not answer his question but he exchanged the conversation with a question as well

(What is my status with you, Khun? I want to know why you care about me? Because I am starting to get tired of trying to understand you, Khun)

Warut did not answer him and kept staring at his face for several minutes before looking at the ground in confusion. Virutt sighed sadly as he knew that his master would not answer him to speak

(Do you allow me to leave, Khun?)

Warut answered him as he headed to sit on the chair in front of his office table to return to his work

(No, sit on the couch and you are not allowed to go out until I allow you)

Virutt took two steps forward

(But...)

Warut shouted at him

(Shut up)

Virutt closed his eyes in fear, remained silent, and sat upright on the sofa without looking. He felt hungry. He had not eaten his lunch or even dinner, and he also felt tired. He was not accustomed to this work. Dreams pulled him to lean his back on the sofa and fold his arms to his chest, trying to take a rest, little by little.
