Hinata's POV

"In our second year, right after Kise joined us, we bHonestly, I am feeecame even more unstoppable and I played less. Since the coach treated me as if I were a secret trump card, that can only be used whenever the team is in a pinch." I said as Tsukishima continued to listen.

Flashback to 2nd Year

Honestly, I am feeling frustrated at the fact that I cannot play anymore but it's quite understandable since Kise's a much better player than me. Especially in terms of height and he could grow while playing because he could have more weapons in his arsenal by copying the opponent's moves.

During our practice, Kise challenged me again to a one-on-one, to prove that he won't take my starting position for granted. Where he lost miserably, since he wasn't able to copy any of my moves and he also wasn't able to block or guard me properly.

After this Akashi decided that we should all have a one-on-one against each other, where once again I won and tried to help them by pointing out the wrong things that they were doing while playing against me.

Time passed by and it was already the middle of my 2nd year when I came to practice and noticed that the aura coming from my friends was quite different and whenever we spent lunch time together, all they would talk about was winning, Akashi even set a rule that each one of us must score at least 20 points.

I was shocked at his statement as I know that would make any team that plays against us try to get their score past a hundred. I tried to voice out my opinion, but I can't as Akashi looked at me straight into my eye, making me feel scared by him.

Time passed by and we are now at the quarter-finals of the tournament, we are currently facing against an uncrowned king, specifically Hanamiya Makoto, and the coach decided to put me in.

To me, the game was suffocating, as everyone was just too focused on winning that they forgot to have fun.

I was too focused on my thoughts that I did not see Hanamiya trying to steal the ball from me, so I passed the ball to Akashi before Hanamiya pushed me, injuring my leg. The referee nor my teammates did not notice it.

It happened once again as Hanamiya was trying to shoot, he knocked me over, causing me to twist my leg, dislocating it in the process. The referee called for a time out as he approached me and took a look at my leg, which seemed dislocated, therefore assigning a foul to Hanamiya's team and asked our team's coach to have me escorted to the infirmary.

I was shocked as no one in my team decided to help me, Aomine even said "Weak". That made me lose all hope for them for as I could recall, none of them have defeated me in a one-on-one, yet they don't treat me like a teammate anymore.

The coach and Momoi-san looked at my injury and took me to the infirmary, where we were instructed to bring me to the hospital since my injury may need a more medical procedure.

The hospital said that I should refrain from playing for about 4-6 weeks after surgery for it to heal and about 2-4 weeks of therapy. My family was extremely worried and shocked by the situation that they immediately went to me, especially my mom, then made sure that I follow what the doctor said. I was literally put at hospital arrest by my family until my surgery wound healed and I just had online classes to make sure that I did not miss school.
