Patton Lancewood.

Twin brother of Logan Lancewood, and the school's ray of sunshine.

They didn't know that Patton stood on the school's rooftop, gazing at the others down below, and wondered what would happen if he just... jumped.

Would he be free?

Free of all this stress?

Or would his death be another burden on everyone's hearts?

Patton didn't want to be a burden.

He didn't like being a burden.

So that's why from the beginning, he decided to bottle his feelings and become the ray of sunshine everyone knew him to be.

In the distance, the bell rang and Patton sighed as he opened the door and went back downstairs.

"There you are, Patton! Wherever did you go?" A brown-haired male asked. The said male wore a white collar shirt with a red and yellow jean jacket draped over him. A little golden crown pin sat in his side-parted hair.

Patton gave the best smile he could, "Oh I was just checking out the little garden on the rooftop! Were you worried, Roman?" Roman laughed, "That is such a Patton thing to do! And yes, of course, I was worried, how could I not be? Logan was too!" The mentioned male chuckled. His black hair was a big contrast to Patton's dirty blonde hair. His blue eyes examined Patton with suspicion. Logan fixed his dark blue tie and adjusted the collar on his blue-collar shirt. He pushed his rectangular glasses up his nose bridge and sighed, "Are you sure you're alright, brother?"

Patton laughed, "Of course I'm alright! How could I not be, eh?" Screw Logan and his knack for catching things. Logan eyed him once more then sighed, "Well alright. If you say so. Anyways, we must hurry up to our next class. No time for dawdling."

Virgil Anderson.

The twin brother of Remy Anderson.

And the school's nobody.

All Virgil wished for was some peace and quiet.

But of course, being Remy's twin brother came with two others tagging along with Virgil.

Remus O'Ryan, the infamous twin brother of Roman O'Ryan, has a streak of green in his coffee-colored hair. He wore a raggedy green shirt with a ripped jean jacket draped over it. Like his brother, he too had a crown pin in his hair, except it was green.

Janus Phillips, the school's snake, has a black top hat resting on top of his dark brown hair. He wore a black collar shirt with yellow borders. A pair of yellow gloves donned his hands and a little snake pin was attached to his hat. Janus was the most peculiar of the three as he had a scar on half of his face which eerily resembled a snake-scale pattern and his eye on the same half was 'bleached' in a sense.

The three of them (Virgil, Remus, and Janus) were labeled the 'Three Musketeers' since the three of them were always together when trouble came up, whether they caused it or not. It was by the off chance that Virgil got a moment of silence like now to hear his thoughts.

That's when a paper airplane flew his way.

Blinking at the craft, Virgil picked it up out of curiosity but held it at arm's length just in case it had anything dangerous attached to it. Unfolding it cautiously, Virgil stared at the singular sentence written on it.

'Sometimes I wish life wasn't so bright...'

Virgil looked around and blinked. ...I'll just... leave this on the bench in case anyone goes looking for it

Virgil sighed and got up as the bell rang.

-

Patton watched as the plane drifted gracefully into the courtyard and next to where the purple-patchwork hoodie guy was sitting. Patton smiled. For some reason, he loved being anonymous and sending notes to strangers. It gave him a sense of... relief. He sighed as the bell rang and watched the hoodie guy leave the airplane unfolded on the bench.

He probably thought someone might be looking for it...

-

Throughout the day, Virgil couldn't help but think about the paper airplane. Who would write it...? Remus? No, he's too intrusive for that. He would've thrown a rock instead. Janus? Again, no. He's not the type. Definitely not Remy. His paper airplanes are ass. Then who else? Could it be Remy's boy crush, Thomas? Again doesn't seem the type... Argh this is hurting my fucking brain goddamnit.

Virgil sighed in annoyance as his thoughts were interrupted by Remus throwing a stink bomb in the biology class. Virgil rolled his eyes as Remus got sent to the principal's office, once again. "This idiot..." Virgil muttered. Janus laughed, "Ah.... to be as impulsive and intrusive as Remus." Virgil just sighed and rested his head.

This is going to be a long first week of summer school.

Fuck the Get Ahead program man. At least I get credits faster, then by Junior year I have more free periods to fuck around with PJSK. I still need to full combo Bitter Chocolate....
