(A/N: This is my 2nd time writing a BNHA Fanfic! The first one I have private cause it was horrendous. But this time (hopefully) will turn out well! I will be following canon as best as I can but I will make some changes to fit Kenji in, especially in the Shie Hassaikai Arc and the Final War Arc. This character will be kind of OP, but he won't be winning every time. Hopefully, this will receive good reviews!)

Kenji looked at the front gates of U.A. He was nervous about entering the entrance exams of U.A. For the longest time, he wanted to be a hero. Kenji had been training for 2 years, alone. He was preparing for this very moment. 'I can't be a nervous wreck right now. It's 2 years of training that I have with me.' Kenji then goes inside the school. He did the written test and now moved to the practical test. They were told to take down robots that all were at different points. But these robots were like people. They were shaped like a human and had different 'quirks' that they each had.

'U.A is insane.' Kenji thinks as he hears Present Mic obliterate his eardrums, telling him to go. He moved quickly and effortlessly. The hero-teachers who were in the observation room had their interests in Kenji. They were stunned at how good the kid was. He was already racking up 48 points while helping any person who had difficulty in fighting the robots.

"This kid should be in the recommendation exams. The other participants are left in the dust." Aizawa, who was staring intently at the screen spoke up. "He is skilled. He moves similar to how Edgeshot moves, wouldn't you think?" Nezu observed. The test was now in its 'unexpected' phase. Each section had sent out a humanoid 0-point robot that disabled quirks. When the participants noticed, they all ran and hid in a safe place. All but Kenji. His quirk was disabled but he wouldn't pass up the challenge. What hero would run away from a villain? Not him, that's for sure.

The U.A staff watched Kenji with curiosity. Kenji looked around him, multiple glass shards were scattered along the floor, thanks to the broken windows. He grabbed a shank-shaped piece of glass and ran toward the robot. The robot had a fire 'quirk'. It spread fires around him so fast, but Kenji was faster. 'It's not sloppy. It's concentrated, it's directed and it's a stream of fire.' Kenji notices the straight stream of fire, instead of the waves that he sees Endeavor usually did. He kept dodging and slowly but surely, closed in. Once he got close enough, the robot got ready for hand-to-hand combat. Kenji waits.

The robot acted quickly. The robot threw a kick that was directed at Kenji's throat. Kenji dropped low and yanked the robot's hand down. The glass shard in his hand stabbed the robot's throat. The robot went limp and the loud buzzer rang through the arena. "TIME!" Present Mic screeched.

Kenji went to Recovery Girl and got himself patched up. He had a bunch of bruises and cuts. But one kiss from Recovery Girl was all it took to heal them, though it left Kenji incredibly exhausted.

Meanwhile, the U.A staff was tallying their scores and ranking them. They had ranked Kenji at Rank #1. With a whopping 124 points. The highest any student has gotten after All Might smashed his way with a perfect 100 a few decades ago. "That kid is reckless. Any logical hero would've run away from that quirk-disabling bot." Vlad King commented. "If you think that, hang your cape up. That kid has the spirit of a hero, not the type to back down." Aizawa argues.

Kenji passed through the 2 first challenges. It was fairly easy. Now it was time for the battle tournament. Kenji went through his opponents easily. They simply didn't stand a chance from his quirk and his intelligence. In the crowd, 2 people were cheering and watching. Well, only one person was cheering really. A blonde guy and indigo colored hair-looking elf. Mirio was in awe watching the student perform so well. "Suneater? Did you see that!? He didn't even use his quirk to win!" Mirio exclaimed and Tamaki watched. "He's not using it 'cause he's saving it for the last battle. He knows he'll get there..." Tamaki analyzed. 'His quirk is sort of like mine. In a way.' Tamaki thinks.
