Authors POV:
Jungkook waved the family goodbye and shut the door with a happy squeal. They were so nice and so complimentary.

They said his food was amazing which was a big thing for Jungkook since he had to learn to cook alone. They loved his home and they loved his personality.

He wasn't so sure about SeokJin because well the alpha was very reserved. Jungkook must admit though being around him was nice. He didn't feel anxious or nervous and the alpha's scent was calming his omega rather than distressing it.

Jungkook really got on with Jimin and Hoseok too and he really felt like he was getting attached. But he held himself back in case it doesn't work out because really that is a possibility! All of it is a little too good to be true.

Following their departure a wave of sadness hit him when he realised he had nearly forgotten his parent's death anniversary.

So he took it on himself to go to their graveside and put the flower wreath there just like he would have done every year.

Taking deep breath he picked up the flowers that he made himself and went outside of his home making his way to the graveyard.

Upon his arrival his emotions became irregular again he held himself well before approaching the true very familiar graves.

Out of all of the graves there his parents one was the cleanest. Jungkook took time out weekly to make sure they never got old or rusty.

He put the flowers around the graves  and knelt down letting his tears fall. His parents death anniversary was the only day he would let himself cry when he comes to visit them. The other days he would plaster a big smile.

"Eomma, Apa...why did you go? Why did you leave me all alone? You know nah I have no one left. Aunty just dropped me at the orphanage once Halemoni died and it was horrible there. A 7 year old me couldn't really understand what was happening. But I'm getting stronger! I'll always be strong for you both!"

Then he sat there whispering his secrets and his dreams and aspirations totally unaware of the Kims/Jungs watching him.

They didn't mean to follow but they had stopped when they left the house because of traffic and they noticed Jungkook looking very sad and holding flower wreaths. So of course they had to make sure he was okay. What they weren't expecting was all of this.

"He's a broken kid Jaya!" Mina spoke out and Jaya nodded saying "Eonni I want to protect him forever. He's been through so much!"

The two sisters held each other tightly looking at Jungkook. They were mothers after all of course this was hurting them.

Jimin and Hoseok weren't any different, with Jimin the youngest and Hoseok the only child they were pampered to such an extent that they didn't really know what hardship was. So seeing Jungkook, a fellow omega that too younger than them going through so much was heart breaking.

Then finally, SeokJin something twisted in him seeing Jungkook look so scared and vulnerable. He never usually feels this way for anyone. But this kid in front of him there's an urge to hold him and protect him from all of the pain in the world.

They eventually decide to leave before Jungkook sees them and thinks they're stalking him.

Once they're at their holiday home they're staying in Jaya and Mina sit them all down before saying "SeokJin..." This is how the three know that the conversation is serious! Their parents never use their full name.

"We want you to be careful with this situation now, I asked you to come take a look at Jungkook since I really wanted you both to get married! But seeing his situation I know that if I was to force you and you can't live up to the title of a husband it's only going to break this child further. I don't want that for him! So if you don't want this marriage please deny now and don't lead him on in any manner. If you do however, I expect you to do it correctly! I have raised you to be a good man don't let my upbringing be questioned!"
