Soulmate.

What is a soulmate?

Soulmate is someone you have an connection with the moment you meet.

Someone who does the same weird things you do.

Someone who understands you, loves you, and will be their for you like no other.

Adrien always wanted to know who could be his soulmate. He heard story how his parents found each other and in love, like a fairy tale with their happily ever after.

He hoping his soulmate is Marinette. His friend, his classmate, his schoolmate, his crush.

She's like a beautiful angel from heaven. She's kind, smart, cute and lots of wonderful things he made a list of about her.

He tried to ask her out many times like invite her going to the movie or play Ultra Mecha Strike 3 at his house but is always end up with someone interrupts them or his stuttering and clumsiness take control of him.

Or mostly interrupt by akuma attacks.

Like this one right now.

"Hahahahaha I'm Soulmate Matcher!!! My crush rejects me saying we're not soulmate, well I'll prove that we were made for each other and also helping you people find their soulmate too." He wondered if this akuma good or bad but he needs to save them.

Adrien immediately went hiding in the restroom and transforms into Mister Bug.

He met up with his partner on the school roof.

"Hello Bugaboy! I'm feline this akuma will be easy to cat-ch." His partner Lady Noire chimed, spun her staff in her hand.

Lady Noire is his cunning, crime fighting partner. She always makes him laugh with her awfully hilarious jokes and puns one time she told they could be soulmate he thought she's just bantering until she told him she in loves with him but he gently rejected her since he is in love with Mari, she said her feelings won't affect their partnership and friendship. He appreciated her and cares for her all lot.

"The akuma probably in their glove. Let's go!" He ran to the cafeteria.

"Right behind you!"

When they arrived they saw a bunch of students hiding under the tables and the akuma raised their arm shoots a ball of light at Alya. It hits her but nothing happened.

"Let's see if Nino is the blogger's soulmate!" The akuma stated as a red thread string appears around Alya's pinkie then the string grow stretched longer until it wrapped around Nino's finger.

"Awwww you're soulmate!" They did a happy dance then noticed the heroes.

"Ah Mister Bug and Ladynoire! Did you come to see me if you two are a match." Mister Bug wondered if let himself get hit it will reveal his soulmate, could be his Marinette.

No focus Adrien!

"No! We're here to save you, hand over your akuma." He spun his yo-yo.

They snapped "Don't you see I'm trying to help people. I can help them find their soulmate."

"Yes maybe but this is the not the right way, you have to let people find their soulmate on their own." Ladynoire rushed with her claws to stop them.

"You only said that cus you haven't knew who your soulmate is let me help you make your dream come true!" They shot many ball of lights at her.

"Lady! Be careful!" Mister Bug went up to her spun his yo-yo as a shield protecting her.

"I will try tie them up then you sneak behind took the glove ok?"

She nodded then they begin their plan.

Ladynoire ran to the students helping them exit the cafeteria. Even though Alya stubbornly wants to stay films for her blog, Nino picks her up and they escaped.

Then is only the Heroes and Soulmate Matcher alone.

Seeing his lady hasn't returned, Mister Bug knock her to the ground and ties her up.

"Stay still." Mister Bug about to grab the glove when the akuma use their strength pushed him away, they aimed their hand at him a big ball of light forming.

"You will thank me later Bug!" They shot it.

Ladynoire returned quickly blocked the ball then use her Cataclysm scratched the glove.

It tear up the glove and the akuma flew out of it, Mister Bug catches with his yo-yo. "Bye bye little butterfly."

Soulmates Matcher deakumatized back to a normal student, their crush came apologized took them away, looks like they felt better.

"Pound it!" Mister Bug realized he forgot something.

"Shoot! I forgot my Lucky Charm!" He slapped his hand to his face.

"It's okay! They didn't cause any physical damage here and no one got hurt." Ladynoire turned around, looking for anything broken.

Mister Bug gasped.

"What? Did you fall for my beauty~?" She turned back grinning at him.

"In your dream Kitten!" Her rings started beeping.

"My time will run out soon! Cat-ch ya later Bugaboy!" She blows him a kiss then she left.

He chuckled. Maybe is it okay.

Adrien ran to the empty restroom, detransform, fed Tikki and walk out the toilet. He was about to open the restroom door when the little kwami stopped him.

"Um Adrien look at your hand." He looks at his right hand and was shocked.

"What the heck!" He got a red thread of string on his pinkey finger. Is like a red thread of fate.

He swore he didn't got hit during the battle though he almost got near the end.

And Ladynoire blocked the-

Wait.

He looks down at the door the string stretched long outside the door he rushed out of the restroom almost bumped into Ivan, he follows and gather the string lead outside the school ground up the staircase to the hallway and stopped at the front door of his class.

It can't be!

He was out of breath as he sees his friends chatting at the door.

"Adrien there you are! You have no idea what happened today." Nino called him next to was Alya and Marinette.

Marinette turns around looking at him "Adrien are you okay?"

He was shocked the second time.

He stared at her hand.

The end of his red thread was on Marinette's pinkie, the ring on her finger was too familiar and he recognized the tiny black cat peeking out of her bag.

And that's the story how Adrien found his soulmate.
