Sage's Pov:
I've been living here for 3weeks now. Its going pretty good. She treats me like a matter, I appreciate that because I never had that. Today I would be meeting her daughter she's 22 in college. Her name is Myelin, Mrs.Beverly talks heavily about her. We were in the kitchen cooking when she walks in.
"MOMMY,I'm home!!" Myelin said
"Ohhh look at my baby you look so good." Mrs. Beverly says holding her daughter.
"Says you. Over here looking like.a 20 year old. And who are you?" Myelin states turning to me.
"I'm Sage. I heard a lot about you." I said.shaking her hand.
" Ohhhhh. I heard if you too. My name's Myelin." She says.
We sat at the dinner table and ate the food Mrs.Beverly and I had prepared. We talked about school and life in general. There's was obviously way better then mine. But they both said they were gonna help me forget about all of that. They said they are going to make new good memories with me.
We laughed and talked all day. It was 10:30 and Myelin went to her Boyfriend's and me and Mrs.Beverly we getting ready for bed.
"Tomorrow we are going to get you some online classes for school." Mrs.Beverly said sitting at the foot of my bed.
"Okay,that's fine."I told her as I laid down.
She tucked me in like I was a huge baby. She kissed my forehead and walked out. I fell into a deep slumber.
Mrs. Beverly's POV:
I walked out of Sage's room and went down the hall to mine. I really fell for this young lady,she's been through a lot. She haven't been into town since the day we left the shelter. She hasn't talked about her parents,even if I bring up the fact that we might have to go get her things. But it's okay, I got her now so I'm going to take care of her like my own.

"Momma I think that it would be a wonderful idea." Myelin said .
We were all in the living room when Myelin came up with the idea of taking Sage to a college party. I think not.
"Sage, it's to early for you to be thinking about parties and drugs Yo....." I said as I was rudely interrupted by Myelin
" There you go talking bout drugs and other b.s. this girl been through a lot the party is just going to be an out let." She said.
"Sage it's up to you." I said to sage
"Sure. Why not how bad could it be." She said with a smile.
"Yay. Now let's go pick out some outfits for tonight." Myelin said grabbing Sage and heading up stairs.
I just hope Myelin doesn't get Sage caught up in the same things she did when she was younger.
Sage's POV:
It was 11:40am and the party Myelin invited me to started at 12:00 tonight. I was sceptical about the situation but then I thought "How bad could it be. It's just a party." But I shouldn't over think this to much.
"How about we go shopping?It's on me okay." Myelin suggested
"Sure. That's cool" I said. She grabbed her bag and we left the house looking bummy:sweats and sneakers.
When we arrived at the mall it bring back old memories of when I used to come here to escape the pain at home.... We walked all over the mall got a lot of things and seen a lot of her friends.
"You hungry baby girl" She says as we walked to the food court.
"Yess. I thought you'd never ask." I said as she laughed
We ordered at Chic-Fil-A and seated ourselves.
"Sage.Morianna.Evans were have you been?" I heard the devil speak my name from behind me.
"Please leave me alone. You knew were I been on the streets were you left me." I said motioning for Myelin to get up.
"Baby I'm sorry. It wasn't my fault. He didn't want you so he said I had no choice." She said scratching and jittering like the crackhead she is.
"So you beat me and leave me for dead!!!!You know what bye. I love you but I can't." I said what I had to say to her and left.I meant every word even saying that I love her. Because I really do even if she don't love me.
