6 . Just a beginning

The next day,

"Again sleeping in the class, I just don't know where you get those highest marks even after sleeping in the whole lecture."
James asked Daniel.

Daniel ignored James like he didn't hear anyone's voice talking to him.

James!! Daniel!!! Daniel!!
It's Ava's voice, scared, alarmed, terrorized, and shocked, running inside the classroom, slamming the door to the wall.

"Come, look outside....... something.... something happened. He is back. I am telling you he is back. We will all die now. No other option left. "

James and Daniel rushed outside the classroom. I gave Ava some water to drink. I am not able to understand what is going on. And what is she talking about? I also walked outside to know the answers.

"Oh my God !"
It was so unrealistic and horrific at the same time. The whole school's paint was changed to a dark black colour. Sunlight has no way of coming out of those large dark clouds. All the birds flying before some time now are dead. Their dead bodies are all over the ground.

Everything was still okay till I realised that the birthmark on my hand started hurting and shining at the same time. I felt like my hand was burning from the inside. It was unbearable.

"It hurts like hell!!!!" I cried in pain and fell unconscious there.
James and Daniel, who were busy analysing the situation and finding something, also looked at me.

" No, it can't happen now. It's not the right time " Daniel said.

"What? It's her. Did you know that Dan?  " James asked.

" I will answer all your questions, but first I will take her to the 2x abode ", Daniel replied.

After some time, I found myself inside a cosy room, lying on a comfortable bed The room was very clean and beautifully designed. There were photos of a boy and a lady on the wall in front of the bed. The boy was Daniel.

I got up. I was confused and didn't know where I a. What was this place ? . Who took me here? Was I kidnapped? I thought.

Then I remembered that I was in school and fell unconscious.
I walked out of the room asking,
" Is anybody there? Can someone tell me about this place ?"

"Don't worry, you are safe here. My brother took you here. "
A sweet voice came. She is a little girl with short neck hair, glittering eyes, fair skin and a positive aura around her.

"Who are you?" I gently asked.

"I am Luna. Nice to meet you. " She replied.
Despite being so young, she knows the ethics of meeting someone very well.

"Nice to meet you too Luna. Can you tell me where I am? "

"You are at your base".

"Which base? And why mine? It's my first time coming here."

" Aren't you a 2x member? That's why you are here. It's 2x abode."

I was so confused. What is this 2x? And what about this base? Why I am here?

"I know you have many questions to ask Ellerie. I will answer them. Luna is my small sister. She doesn't know much "
It's Daniel's voice. He is coming from the hall's side room towards me.

"How do you feel now? Better or not. Do you still feel sick? " Daniel asked.

It's my first time watching him worried about me and being so considerate towards someone. He was looking so handsome in his trousers that I was staring at him and looking at him shamelessly without caring about replying to his question.
