"I'm Peter. Peter Pan."
I chuckle to myself. "Very funny, where are the cameras?" I start to look around.
"What are you tal-" he starts but I cut him off.
"I'm being Punk'd aren't I?" I ask, crossing my arms.
He looks at me and tilts his head. When I look into his gorgeous emerald eyes, I can see a hint a confusion and amusement.
I raise my eyebrows. "Do you really expect me to believe that? I mean, look at you! Perfectly smooth, silky skin, your hair perfectly swept to the side, those mesmerizing green eyes, and those plump, pink lips.." I say getting lost in my description of him. Meanwhile, he started walking closer to me.
"Dude," I say snapping out of it. "You look like someone who just walked out of a male model magazine. How do you expect me to believe that you're really Peter Pan? I'm not that stupi-" I stop talking and look at the sincerity and seriousness in his face.
"Shit, you really are Peter Pan." I cover myself with my sweater and cross my arms. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you or any-"
"Don't worry about it, love." My eyes widened when he said 'love'. The word sounded incredibly dreamy when it slipped out of his mouth. His British accent made it sound even more perfect. He was smirking.
I bite my thumbnail, also a bad habit, and stare anywhere, anything to avoid making eye contact with him. I've always been so awkward around boys, that's why I always do anything in my power to stay away from boys.
I pursed my lips together, waiting for a response from the boy. All he did was look out into the water then look back at me with a smile on his face.
"Well," he started. "Girl who finds me undeniably attractive,"
"I do n-" He raised one eyebrow and I felt defeated.
"Girl who finds me undeniably attractive," he said once again. "What's your name? Well, of course, I already know it but, I want to hear you say it."
"Tessa." He looked at me as if he wasn't satisfied with my answer. "Tessa Mitchell. By any chance, do you happen to know where I am? Or why I'm here?"
"Oh Tessa," he said, putting his thumb under my chin and lifting it up to look at him. "You're in Neverland. You agreed to come here, remember?"
I was at a loss of words from the contact he made with me. "I- yeah, I- I remember." I take a step back from him becoming slightly uncomfortable.
"Why do you seem so nervous, Tess?" He asked. From his facial expression, I could tell he knew the answer. I took a shot at being brave for a moment.
"Why don't you tell me, Pan?" I said with a smirk on MY face.
He put his hand on my shoulders and pushed me back until I hit a tree.
"Look here, princess." He said smirking. "You're on my island now. You will respect me and my orders. If you don't, there will be consequences. Understand?"
"Yeah, y-yeah of course. N-no problem, I don't know why I said that. Silly me." I said laughing nervously.
"Good." He let my shoulders go and took a step back. "If you're going to stay on this island, why don't I show you around?"
"Sure, sounds great," I said still not making any sort of eye contact. He just chuckles and grabs my hand, leading me into a forest that I hadn't noticed before.
"So, uh, where are you taking me?" I finally asked after minutes of awkward silence.
"Back to camp." He said, not looking back at me.
