I was awoken from the sound of boys feet scrambling around and snapping twigs. I prop myself up using my elbows and look around at my surroundings. I swing my feet off of the bed so that they're hanging, my legs too short to touch the ground. I walk to the mirror in the bathroom, almost tripping over the steps. I look in the mirror and run my fingers through my hair trying to comb through my hair. When it didn't make any difference in how messy it was, I just put it up in a bun.
I take off my glasses and put them on the table next to the bed. I walk out of the hut and breathe in the fresh air. I'm then hit with a ball of mud.
"What the fuck?!" I whisper yell. I turn to see two of the Lost Boys giggling and running away. I sigh out of frustration and take off my white sweater and cream-colored tank top which are now stained with mud. I'm left in only my black sports bra and blue soccer shorts.
I trudge over to the fire and cover my torso with both of my arms. I look around to search for either Peter or Felix, but to no avail - I found neither.
"Looking for me?" a British accent said against my neck causing me to jerk around.
"Jesus Christ!" I exclaim, turning around to become face to face with Peter. "You scared me."
Peter's POV
I look down at Tessa to see a gorgeous sight. Her long, chestnut colored hair, obviously messy, put up into a bun, tiny pieces falling out here and there. Her electric blue eyes glancing up at me, her perfectly tanned skin looking absolutely breathtaking from my angle. She was only in her sports bra and shorts which made her even more attractive. Her body was in perfect shape, not too big but not too small. She was definitely pleasing to look at and it took every bone in my body to finally remove my eyes from her.
"So," I say clearing my throat. "Where are your, uh, upper garments?"
"Oh," She says covering up her torso with her arms once more. "I got mud on them.
I chuckle. "How did you get mud on your clothes, love?"
"I'm really clumsy," she says. I can tell she's lying. She's a terrible liar and I've already noticed it. She does one of three things. She either scrunches up her nose, fidgets with her hair or pulls at her bottom lip.
"Okay.." I say, knowing that I will be finding out the truth later on. "So, you hungry, darling?"
"Uh.." She says. "No, I'm not hungry, thank you thou-"
I grab her hand, pull her over to the fire and sit her down on the log. "Bullshit, Tess. Please eat." I say handing her some leftover eggs from this morning.
"Fine." She says taking the eggs. I smile and take a seat next to her.
"Did you sleep well?" I ask turning myself towards her.
"Yeah," She says, her mouth stuffed with an egg. "How about you?"
"Fine. I slept fine." I look at her. "Hey, I want to get to know you better."
"You what?" She asks, looking stunned.
"You're the first Lost Girl Neverland has ever had, I want to get to know you."
"Uh," She finishes her eggs. "Okay, what do you what to know?" She brings her legs up to her chest and wraps her arms around them.
"What was your life like before Neverland?" She widens her eyes and bites her lip at my question. I just raise my eyebrows.
"Well, I played soccer, a lot of soccer. I didn't have many close friends. I did okay in school - low b's and c's. There's really nothing interesting about me."
