Author's POV:
The trio stood in front of the dilapidated lab, the evening light casting eerie shadows on the broken walls. Uzi's eyes scanned the rubble, the weight of her mother's message heavy on her shoulders. The device in N's hand seemed to pulsate with an ominous energy.
"So, we have the magic doodad," Uzi said, breaking the silence. "Now what? Do we just wave it around and hope for the best?"
V smirked, kicking a piece of debris aside. "Something like that. It's not like we have a detailed instruction manual."
"Great," Uzi muttered. "Bite me, mom. Leaving me with cryptic messages and ancient tech. Really helpful, you know." Uzi said not happy an little Bit and with some sarcasm.
N chuckled, adjusting the device in his hands. "We'll figure it out, Uzi. We always do."

The next day, back at school...
Uzi, N, and V sat in the deserted library, the quiet hum of old machinery the only sound. The holographic recordings had provided a wealth of information, but also left them with more questions.
V leaned back in her chair, stretching. "So, Uzi, any idea how to turn this thing on?"
Uzi shrugged, examining the device. "No clue. But it's gotta be connected to the Solver somehow. Maybe we need to activate it with... emotions or something?"
"Bite me, emotions," she grumbled, glaring at the device as if it personally offended her.
N placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll figure it out. Together."
Uzi sighed, her tough exterior cracking for a moment. "Thanks, N. I just... it's a lot to deal with, you know?"
V nodded, her usual sarcasm replaced with a rare moment of empathy. "We get it, Uzi. We're here for you."
"Yeah, yeah," Uzi muttered. "Just don't get all mushy on me. Bite me, emotions."
---
Later that evening...
The library was bathed in the dim glow of the projector as they continued their research. Uzi's eyes were heavy with exhaustion, but she pushed on, determined to uncover every last secret.
V flipped through another dusty tome. "Hey, look at this. It's a schematic for some kind of containment field."
Uzi perked up. "You think it could help control the Solver?"
"Possibly," V replied. "But it's incomplete. We're gonna have to improvise."
"Fantastic," Uzi said, rolling her eyes. "Bite me! Ugh..."
N laughed softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "At least we're making progress."

In the dead of night...
Uzi tossed and turned in her bed, the whispers of the Absolute Solver growing louder. Her room seemed to close in on her, the shadows twisting into sinister shapes. She sat up with a start, her heart racing.
