Weeks have passed since Y/n's first shift at the raptor pen. But fortunately for her, it went by quickly. She had gotten used to the early wake up time and it eventually became a regular routine for her to do from then on.
When arriving at the pen every morning to feed the raptors, Charlie was still the only one to come out. She had become used to his over hyper personality and his barks of approval when she'd come over with the bucket full of dead rats.
It wasn't like she was worried about the other raptors, though. She'd seen them all come out for lunch every time she was with Owen, so it settled her small nerves to see they were decent. And if you were wondering how she fed them breakfast, there were already small feeder hooks on the sides of the cage that were only used if needed. In this situation, they were needed.
But, now that she was getting comfortable with her new job, the boys still might not accept her company just yet.

Charlie transformed back into his human form after running into the forest of his pen, where his brothers sat around. "It's about damn time you came back." Delta stated as Charlie sat down next to him. "Well, I'm sorry; I didn't think you cared whether or not I came out the forest." Charlie shrugged as he leaned his head back on the ground.
Delta scoffed. "Unfortunately for you, we actually have to talk." Charlie raised a brow. "About what?" He questioned as Echo fidgeted with his sharp nails. "He wanted to wait until you came back so we can all group up, I guess." He answered.
"So what is it? -that's so important." Blue interrupted, staring up at Delta with a piercing gaze. The dark haired male only glared back at Blue before sighing deeply. "I have a plan."

Y/n yawned loudly as she walked up the stairs to the top of the pen with the bucket of food. She made her way to the other feeder hooks on the other side of the pen and began to place the dead rats on them one by one.
Once she was finished, she went back down the steps and opened the first gate of the pen. Since Charlie was always out, she just had to throw the food through the gate gaps so he could eat. She sat in front of the gate and got ready for Charlie to come bursting out of the forest in any second.
But he didn't. She looked around the pen to see if he was lurking anywhere to jump scare her for the hundredth time so far, but he was no where to be seen. She grabbed one of the rats and lightly hit it against the gate bars, hoping to lure the dinosaur towards her. She knit her brows together in confusion, contemplating on whether or not she should just go back up and place Charlie's food on his own hook.
