Being born into the 20% of people without quirks, Y/n was considered weak to many people. Thoughout his childhood, Y/n was friends with Izuku and his sister Izumi. Y/n liked Izumi, but never acted on his feelings. Due to him and Izuku being quirkles...
All men are not created equal. This is the harsh reality and truth of the world we live in. No matter what we do, things will never be perfect in the world. Quirks. Ever since the first sighting, they've been popping up all around the world, ranging in three categories. Emitter, Transformation, and Mutation. However since 80% of the population had some kind of superpower, that 20% did not. They were called quirkless and were considered at the bottom of the social hierarchy.
Two such people were Izuku Midoriya and Y/n L/n. Two boys with dreams of becoming heroes, but were shattered when they received the news. Despite this, they still pushed to be heroes without having a quirk, but one such person made it more difficult than the rest. Bakugou Katsuki or called by Izuku and his sister Kacchan. He bullied the boys, but seemed to have it out for Y/n for reasons unknown.
In a back alley in present day, Y/n falls to his knees. He holds his stomach in pain as he looks up to see his tormentor.
Y/n:*in pain* Come on man, don't you have better things to do?
Bakugo:*scoffs* I do. But kicking the crap out of you always makes me feel better!

He lands a kick to Y/n stomach, making him cough in pain. As he goes for another kick, Y/n catch his leg and tackles him to the ground.
Kenzo: Wow! Someone's feisty today!
It doesn't take long for Bakugo to get Y/n off him and throw him to the ground.
Bakugo: You little shit!
In his anger, he uses his explosion quirk on Y/n, giving him some burn marks. Y/n tells in pain from the explosion causing Bakugo to smirk.
Bakugo: You thought you could beat me Y/n? When are you gonna get it through your head? A quirkless loser like you will next beat me. Let's go guys.
As Bakugo and his lackeys laugh as they leave, Y/n finds the strength to stand and he uses the wall as support to walk out of the alley. It takes him a minute before he makes his way out and he keeps using the wall as support as he tries to get himself home.
Y/n: Come on Y/n, just place one foot in front of the other.
However the pain from Bakugo's quirk kicked in again making Y/n slide down the wall as he holds his side in pain.
Y/n: Damn it. Stupid Katsuki and his stupid quirk...Thinking he's better than everyone. I'll show him. One day, I'll get a quirk even better than his and he'll regret ever messing with me.
As Y/n sits in pain, he hears footsteps running towards him and looks to see Izuku and his sister Izumi coming towards him with worry. Izumi's quirk was similar to her mom's in a certain way, but also different. Allowing her to push, pull, and lift objects. Much like Y/n, Izuku was born quirkless. This is was the basis of their friendship, that would lead them to becoming best friends.
Izumi: Y/n!
