Blaze and Ice

Blaze and Ice don't remember their parents. They knew of their existence, but they're too young for their memory to properly remember their barely there parents. Their friends always talk or complain about their parents, but Blaze and Ice never understand any of it. They only have their Kak Hali.

Blaze is a troublemaker so he is bound to create so much trouble both at school and home. Halilintar has never been mad at him or punished him for all the trouble he did. Instead, it is always Gempa who'll scold and ground him. Blaze got into so much trouble that Taufan and Gempa had to literally beg for him to stop causing more trouble. They had an argument and Blaze packed his stuff, running away from home at the heat of the moment. When his anger finally tones down, Blaze realise his mistake and had the thought of returning back home. But the mere idea of facing his siblings' fury makes him against going back and continues his quest of straying away.

Almost a week after he ran away from home, police finally found him and they brought him back home. Blaze had expected his older siblings to be mad and yell at him, but he's never prepared, will never be, to see their eldest sister, Halilintar, look so heartbroken and scared. She always appears strong and fearless to them. Yet, at that moment, Halilintar looks like she hasn't slept or eaten properly, like a single wrong word from Blaze would make his strong sister break down and crumble. Her crimson ruby eyes begging him to come home and Blaze unconsciously ran towards and into her arms. They cried. Halilintar from relief and Blaze from feeling very guilty making his sister so worried. He vowed to himself to never become or let anyone be the reason for Halilintar to shed tears like that again. Even if he needs to beat the shit out of someone.

Ice on the other hand, was one of the witnesses of what happened to their eldest sister when his idiot twin decided to run away. Halilintar had come home running after Gempa called her, explaining that Blaze had left after an argument with Taufan and him. She has been frantic on searching for the fire manipulator. Ice saw how stressed Halilintar was. With her plate already being too full despite Gempa and Taufan's help, Blaze's impulsive decision on running away seems to have made everything crumble down on the eldest.

She couldn't sleep or eat properly due to worrying about Blaze's safety. Even when Gempa and Taufan try to comfort their eldest, it always seems to make her more saddened, blaming herself for being a bad sister and not doing good enough for them. Ice may be young, but he is not oblivious to Halilintar's struggles and efforts in taking care of them. Their eldest is everything, but a bad sister.

During the whole period of searching for his twin, Ice remains by Halilintar's side, comforting and assuring her, like she always did to him after he had nightmares, the best he could. When they finally get Blaze back, Ice will make sure to have a very stern and serious talk to his twin about everything he had done that had caused their eldest to be so worried.

Blaze is in so much trouble for making Halilintar so worried. But that's fine because our baby Ice will have a very loving talk with his twin brother😉
