Arjun and Shivya were asleep, cuddling each other. The door of the house opened and a lady came in.
"Hey you boy, get up", she said.
Arjun and Shivya got up, their faces were red with shame.
"What are you doing in my house?", The lady said frowning.
"We are sorry, yesterday it was raining and had no where else to go so..", Arjun said wearing his pants under the blanket.
"Your house was open and the condition was such that it felt like it was shut for years", Shivya said.
"'You boy go outside", the lady's voice was such that Arjun felt scared of her and he went outside. He went to arrange a transport so that they could go back.
"Can i get something to wear?", Shivya asked.
The lady took out a saree out of her cupboard and Shivya wore it, the lady helped her to make the plaits proper.
"Ok aunty thank you", Shivya said and was going out when the lady held her hand.
"Where are you going Mahanaag Rani?", the lady said.
When Shivya turned she saw the lady in a blue attire with golden jewelry, just like a naagin would wear.
"Who are you?", Shivya said taking her naagin fom.
"Am Naina", the lady said, "160 years old Naagin and not just a Naagin, i was Takshika too, once".
"160 YEARS OLD NAAGIN!!!", shivya was amazed.
"Sshhhh...", Naina said, "calm down dear".
"Sorry sorry", Shivya said.
"I have ruled Takshak lok before Rudraksh did", Naina said, " I was removed when Avantika sat on the throne, I have the boon to live 200 human years. After Rudraksh's death Takshak vansh again turned evil, like the other evil vansh. I have seen everything that occurred in Naag lok from Rudraksh's reign till the present day".
"Oh ok but what do you want from me?", Shivya was confused.
"Save the Naag mani", Naina said, "you can trust anybody here".
"Why can't you help me? You would be so powerful".
"Takshak vansh's naag-naagin cannot touch the Naag mani any more".
"Am from Takshak vansh too".
"No, Vish had adopted your mother and aunt so their kids became of Shesh Vansh".
"But in my previous birth I was Takshika".
"And because of your attempt of stealing the Naag mani, Nandini made the Naag mani recessive to Takshak vansh Naags".
"Oh", Shivya felt regret.
"And one more thing", Naina said with shame, "am sorry".
"Sorry? About what?"
"I was only the old lady who told Naag Rani Chandrakanta that it was her fault that Mohini died, and also that the Naag Lok does not want a cursed Naag Rani and Mahanaag Rani", Naina saying this could not make an eye contact with Shivya, "Because of me Chandrakanta decided to give up her powers".
"What ever happened was not good, but we can't regret about it forever", Shivya consoled Naina.
"Shivya come, cab has arrived", Arjun knocked the door.
"Yeah coming", Shivya said.
"Telling you and apologizing you made my heart light", Naina said.
Shivya hugging Naina, bid farewell.
After Shivya was gone, Naina took out a picture, it was Mohini's picture, she burnt it.
"You don't even know what danger will come on you Shivya", Naina said with an evil laugh.
