It was dark, Apollo hurried across Olympus, he knew he didn't have much time before the others would notice. He walked behind the tall marble columns, quickening his pace with each step until he got to Hepheastus's workshop. Pushing on the dark and heavy door, he quietly slipped into the room. He knew his half brother wouldn't be happy with him for doing so, but Apollo took 10 pieces of pure gold.

"Sorry Hephie," he whispered to himself as he tucked the gold under his arm and left.

Using his power to heat the solid gold, Apollo took his time shaping and molding the metal. Looking up into the mirror and back down at the ore in his hands, he tried his best to sculpt his features accurately. After what felt like hours, he had formed a newborn. A girl.

By then it was sunrise and he brought the baby forth, presenting her to the Sun.

"I won't always be able to be there for my children, I need someone who can," Apollo spoke. "Someone  who will have our combined strength. No one but us and her shall know, let her power be kept a secret for if the Gods found out they could endanger her life."

He closed his eyes and pressed a kiss to the golden girls head, letting it linger for a few seconds. When Apollo looked up, the baby was no longer gold but was now flesh and blood. Tears of happiness graced his cheeks.

Wrapping her in a golden blanket, he looked up at the sun, "Chiron will take great care of her."

The newborn babbled something incoherent and although he didn't understand, Apollo babbled back.

"Welcome to the world Hallie."

She would protect the children of apollo.

She would have the power of the sun.

She would be a half blood.
