It was raining heavily. Seungcheol knew Jeonghan would still be outside, caught up with his extra classes. Concerned, he decided to go out and look for him.

After a while, he spotted Jeonghan in the garden, not alone, but with Joshua. The sight stopped him in his tracks.

Jeonghan was holding an umbrella, his eyes shining in the dim light, lips curved into a soft smile.

Despite Joshua's persistent reassurance that he was fine, Jeonghan remained adamant.

He insisted on giving Joshua his umbrella, ensuring he stayed dry.

Seungcheol felt a sudden sting on his cheeks. He touched his face, realizing they were tears.

Watching Jeonghan's tender expression, it struck him like a bolt of lightning. Jeonghan was in love with Joshua.

Those eyes, so full of warmth and affection, couldn't hide the truth.

Heart aching, Seungcheol turned and fled, dropping his own umbrella in the process.

The rain soaked him to the bone, but he didn't care. His heart was breaking, longing for a love that seemed just out of reach.

As he ran, memories of Jeonghan's laughter, their shared moments, and unspoken words played like a cruel montage in his mind.

Each step felt heavier than the last, weighed down by the realization that Jeonghan's heart belonged to someone else.

He reached the edge of the garden and paused, looking back one last time. Jeonghan and Joshua were now sharing the umbrella, laughing together as they made their way to shelter.

The sight was bittersweet, a painful confirmation of what he had just discovered.

Seungcheol turned away, wiping his tears with the back of his hand.

He knew he had to let go, but the process was going to be excruciatingly slow and painful.

For now, he could only hope the rain would wash away some of his heartache.

He jolted awake, the vivid memory of that painful scene still haunting his dreams. It felt as fresh and raw as the day it happened.

Rubbing his eyes, Seungcheol tried to shake off the lingering ache in his chest. With a heavy sigh, he adjusted himself in his chair and refocused on the documents in front of him.

The pile seemed endless, each paper a welcome distraction from the thoughts that threatened to consume him.

He took a deep breath, willing himself to concentrate on the task at hand.

But no matter how hard he tried, the image of Jeonghan's smile as he handed Joshua the umbrella was still struck in his head, an unrelenting reminder of what he couldn't have.
