After the New Year celebrations had ended, Jeonghan found himself constantly thinking about how to confess his feelings to Seungcheol.

The fear of another heartbreak loomed over him, making him hesitant to be straightforward.

He wasn't sure how Seungcheol felt about him, so he decided to drop subtle hints, hoping Seungcheol would understand his feelings.

One morning, Jeonghan arrived at work with two cups of coffee. He handed one to Seungcheol, smiling.

"I remembered you like this blend."

He said, hoping the gesture would convey his thoughtfulness.

Seungcheol accepted the coffee gratefully.

"Thanks, Jeonghan! You're always so considerate."

Jeonghan's heart sank slightly. He had hoped for a more profound recognition of his intentions.

"Anything for you, Seungcheol."

He added softly.

But Seungcheol was already sipping his coffee, seemingly unaware of the deeper meaning behind Jeonghan's words.

During a team meeting, Jeonghan made a point to sit closer to Seungcheol.

"I enjoy working on projects with you."

He said, his eyes lingering on Seungcheol's face.

Seungcheol smiled.

"Same here. We make a great team."

Jeonghan sighed inwardly. It was clear Seungcheol was still not picking up on the hint.

"Yeah, a great team."

He echoed, feeling a bit disheartened.

One evening, as they were leaving the office after a long day, Jeonghan tried dropping one more hint.

"You know, Seungcheol, there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now."

Seungcheol turned to him, curiosity in his eyes.

"What is it, Jeonghan?"

Jeonghan took a deep breath, his heart pounding.

"I... I really appreciate having you in my life. You mean a lot to me, more than just a friend."

Seungcheol smiled warmly.

"You mean a lot to me too, Jeonghan. You're like family."

Jeonghan felt a pang of disappointment. It was clear that Seungcheol wasn't getting the message.

He forced a smile and nodded.

"Yeah, like family."

During one of their regular coffee breaks, Jeonghan decided to take a more personal approach. They were sitting in a cozy corner of the café, chatting about their day.
