Chapter 1- Long Ride

Why are my parents making me do this? I don't want to spend my entire winter with some guy at a little lodge thing. I mean seriously, I don't even know who I'm gonna be with, all I know is that he's my parents friends son.

An entire winter with some guy! This is gonna be so awkward, I can already taste the awkwardness, if that makes any sense at all. We're going to leave in like an hour so I'm spending the rest of my time with my best friends. Regan, Adrianne, Amanda, and Jordan. I'm gonna miss them so much.

"OMG I here your staying with a boy!" Adge says.

"Shut up!" I say, throwing my pillow at her.

"Ohhhhhh someone doesn't seem very happy about this," Amanda says.

"Well, of coarse I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of staying with a stranger, but, hey, he could be a nice guy," I say, trying to convince myself it won't be as bad as it seems.

"Ok well lets finish helping you pack, shall we?" Jordan says, putting some clothes into my bag. Soon enough, everyone is helping me finish packing.

"Bye, Cassey!" They all yelled at me one last time while our car was driving away. I waved back at them and smiled.

"Well, Cassey, lets listen to some music then, shall we?" My dad says turning on the radio. What Makes You Beautiful by that band One Way or something like that came on. Wait, it's One Direction, right. Well yeah, that came on and I groaned. I don't hate the band, I just don't like their music very much.

"Dad, can you please tell me who I'm staying with?" I ask him AGAIN.

"You'll see when we get there."

Ugh. This was going to be a long ride.
